I have never been as pleased with a construction crew, the individual men, and ​a project manager as I am with this particular group of men. Jared, the project designer was extremely helpful in guiding me through the HOA approval process. Thank you to Jesus the project manager, Julio and crew for their conscientious rapid fire work. They began demolition of the existing concrete slab on Monday and had the new patio (3 times the area of the original patio) constructed and completely finished by Thursday. It's better than I imagined!

I met with Michael for an estimate and he was so great upfront. What ended up being our first quote was our only quote because we felt so comfortable working with Michael. From beginning to end Michael was easy to work with and upfront about everything. He never tried to upsell but give you bang for the buck. The work was top notch and we have cars driving by regularly to slow down and give the finished product a look. I couldn’t be happier and recommend Black Diamond completely. Look at the photos and you can see how beautifully it turned out.

System Pavers operates in seven states so this is a review specific to our local crew. The job in Venice consisted of removing our old cracked and misaligned concrete patio and installing interlocking pavers instead. After the initial consultation with Travis de La Cruz and meeting with the project manager Eric Magpali, the project proceeded quickly with clear communications during the entire process. Special mention goes to Juan's Crew who did all the hard work. Watching them was almost like watching a ballet performance. Everybody in the team was focused and efficient, switching seamlessly between individual as well as collaboration tasks as needed. Whenever the was an ambiguity, questions where asked, alternatives clearly presented, and our wishes implemented perfectly. The entire worksite was kept super-clean at all times. The end result was flawless and looks absolutely gorgeous. We could not be happier with the entire process and the final result.

Highly recommend System Pavers! We just had our driveway done by them, and they were amazing from start to finish. We had pavers installed, and the entire process was efficient, professional, and stress-free. Justin at System Pavers was incredible. He was very informative, explained everything clearly, and helped me through the process of choosing the perfect pavers. Jose, our construction manager, was also amazing, as was his hardworking crew. They kept everything clean, stayed on top of the work, and kept us updated every step of the way on what would happen next. Very unprofessional company. They charge me $40,000 for my payers which were very happy with. However, the on-site manager when job was done asked me if I wanted my pavers sealed to protect them. I asked him that's not included in the $40,000. He said no and he told me if I had told you that up front you wouldn't have bought the pavers. He wanted 5200 to seal the papers. I had a professional tile company which happens to be a very good friend of mine come out and seal them for $2,000. They look amazing. However, system papers now has voided my warranty because I had another professional company do what they should have done to begin with. Very bad experience overall with management I don't recommend I have found a company that does pavers same quality. Half the price. I had all my additional work done by this other guy. It matches. It looks exactly the same quality is 100% All I can say is buyer beware. Do not use system papers. They will rip you off also. I made a very clear to the on-site manager. I was unhappy. He said he would discuss with his bosses and get back to me. Nobody has ever called me back to try to make it right

I would like to give an honest and comprehensive review of System Pavers. Recently I decided to hire this company to remodel my back patio. The workers left so many construction wastes in my back yard, especially around my roses and fruit trees. In addition, the sanding was left unfinished and it was nothing but a mess. The project manager is the biggest scammer I have ever met. On the last day of my project, he called me and asked me if I could sign the Certification of completion form before the final walk so that the financing company can release the fund to them. I was very innocent to sign it right away. After that, he promised to meet with me to finish the final walk TWICE but he never showed up on either appointment with absolutely no phone calls or messages left. It is such a shame that the company claimed they have a 25-year warranty on their pavers, but they could not even supervise their employees to responsibly finish a project in the right way in the first place. It has been more than 30 days since my project was considered as completed, I tried to contact the management of this company before writing this review, but it seems like no one cares. That is fine. In conclusion, I was taken, but you should be aware. Your money does not grow from trees. Save yourself a nightmare and go somewhere else to find a legitimate contractor is my ultimate advice to everyone who reads this review. Do not be fooled by the nice pictures in the advertisement, the reality is in my attachment. The visual results of my project are the best 3D simulation of your future backyard if you still decide to hire System Pavers. The workmanship is important, but attitude matters the most.

Everyone we dealt with at System Pavers was helpful, friendly, and very good at their jobs. The salesman suggested a different color pavers than we'd been thinking of for the driveway, and he was absolutely right! The crew doing the work did a great job. They really knew their stuff. We're very happy with the results.

We really liked the crew that did the actual work. Very efficient. From the inicial contact, laying out the colors and design of the pavers with the salesman to the supervisor and on the job foreman, good experience. The neighbors really like how it all came out.

I wish I could give this company a wonderful review. But, that is not going to be the case. Our System Pavers salesman, Mr. Mike Ammenwerth, took care of drawing up the plans. He was nice enough... However, communicating with him afterward was, in fact, a challenge in itself. We signed the contract for our Paver project, which included Pergola Patio Cover, which turned out to be a separate project. We were assigned a couple of *project managers*... First, it was Beau Johnston, the Repair Technician, who had to be pulled off the job, then it was Mr. Zakk Schot who ended up being our primary point-of-contact for the majority of the project. We also had interaction with the company Contraction Manager, Mr. Frank Gori. All in all... Communication was spotty at best throughout this experience (with the exception of dealing with Zakk). The Pergola patio cover became an issue as time went on. We advised Mike Ammenwerth that we wanted additional shade than we were receiving from our existing wooden patio cover. Mike told us *no problem* and recommended the Pergola. Well, the Pergola, once it was installed, sat higher (taller) with a less angle and, frankly, provided less shade (or really no shade) when we compared it to our old patio cover. It is attractive looking without question... However, now we have to install roll down shades to the sides and front of our beautiful patio cover. Not what we expected at all. Our patio cover faces to the South. So... Be very much aware of which side of the house YOU intend on the installation of the very same product. Had I done more research on companies that perform this very same type of service, I would have saved myself a heck of a lot of money. System Pavers profit markup is outrageous (I found out after-the-fact). The company itself only hires subcontractors for their work. The paver subcontractor (Mr. Rozival Sousa of Paver Performance, Lic #1060961) asked me what I paid for our paving contract... He gave me a *look*, then told me that he could have done it for half the price with the very same material and guarantees. Lesson learned. This company depends on the ignorance of the client. The subcontractor, and his team, did a reasonably nice job with our paving project. However, they were very sloppy with the concrete residue left behind on all edges of the paver boundaries. They also left lots of rock and sand that we had to clean up. We filled 3 large trash cans and still had more to go. Some sprinkler pipes were broken as well... However, those were repaired. For the price I (we) paid for this construction project, I certainly expected more attention to detail when it was all said and done. Would recommend this company to someone else? Probably not. Do your research! More importantly, take several bids from various companies. You will eventually discover that System Pavers is way overpriced.

Ryan was our Project Manager and did a wonderful job in over seeing our job through System Pavers. Beautiful work. Pavers, artificial grass, landscaping and lighting. He kept me informed every step of the way and was so pleasant to work with!

I have been enjoying my backyard with both pavers and artificial turf, a custom dog run, and a fountain that System Pavers designed and installed for me almost seven years ago and absolutely love it. They made my dream back yard come to life--and everything came out exactly as promised and right on budget. The sign of a good company is one that stands behind its work, and System Pavers and Project Manager Ryan Mainwaring, along with colleague Roger Torres & supervisor Luis Paez, personify System Pavers' quality guarantee. When I experienced a small problem this month with part of the installation, despite the fact that everything was almost 7 years old, Ryan and crew came out and fixed the problem and made sure I was satisfied and happy. I could not be happier with my back yard and System Pavers, and highly recommend them!

Very good service! Easy to work with especially during the design and planning phase. During construction, there were days that nothing was done. This seemed inefficient and delayed the completion. The final work was fantastic though. It was expensive though, but some of the work was very customized.

Very nice process from beginning to end. Very friendly and responsive customer service. The work is highly professional. The 25 year warranty on their work is icing on the cake.

Communicated the process every step of the way and explained each detail. Exceeded expectations in adding extra finishing touches not expected in the job. Excellent customer service and follow up. Very happy with the results! Thank you Mike and Tony!

The driveway and walkway look great! We highly recommend Systems Pavers. I have had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, so we were especially impressed with how professional and courteous everyone was. The Salesman continued to be friendly, answered questions promptly, and overall helpful after we signed the contract. The Project Manager was also attentive and great to work with. The crew was polite, organized, and skilled. We are very happy with the work and the overall experience.

They completed the job in good time and with good quality. There was 1 or 2 pavers that stood out, as the color didn’t really match, so the project manager said he would change them himself. Good customer service on that end. My main hang up is that a couple weeks after I signed with them, I finally received a couple other quotes that were substantially cheaper (2/3 the cost), but with their cancellation policy it would have negated the savings, so I stayed with them.
