Shower Install or Replace
The owner of TAG was very nice and offered a great price to renovate my grandmothers walk-in shower (that had a crack in the floor destroying the plywood underneath and a leak that went into the basement when the shower was used). The plan was to pull everything out, replace the sub-floor, and install a bathtub with tile walls. We agreed a bathtub was the best decision for the home's eventual resale after my grandmother had passed away. The construction took over a week which left me without a working shower for 2 weeks. When they were finished the bathtub did not plug (an essential characteristic for a tub) and there STILL was a leak into the basement! Not to mention the poor molding around the ceiling and the GLUED wooden trim around the window that had separated by the time it dried. I was also left with a mountain of trash and debris in the carport for ME to dispose of, which was not in the contract. I contacted TAG about the unresolved issues that they were originally hired for and they never got back to me. Not even a text or phone call to explain, or an attempt to fix ANY of the issues. They just disappeared after payment. I would not recommend TAG to anyone after this experience.

Ben was incredibly accommodating with all the little things we needed done for our project. He and his workers always cleaned up and mopped floors before they left for the day. Hes been back three different times now to help with other odds n end tasks and is incredibly flexible to help when in a bind!

ben was very cooperative in the initial meeting and offered some lower cost solutions that worked for me. he performed the initial work in a timely manner. where it went wrong is the permit was never pulled. changing 1/2 bath to 3/4 bath so it needs to be recorded by the town. Also had another plumber look at his workmanship and said it was subpar with all the spliced connections made with pex. i have contacted ben numerous times and he always has an excuse for not pulling the permit and not completing the install. of course this a rental property and now have to discount the rent due to a bathroom not completed.

"Some people like to make empty threats, without reason. We completed EXACTLY what we were paid to do. If there was an issue with the workmanship, it was never brought to our attention. NEVER. The customer is correct in stating that the permit was never pulled. The permit was never pulled, because we were never PAID IN FULL as agreed upon. Update: This complaint should be updated, because the permit was pulled, and all of the plumbing work was approved. We were also paid in full."

Bathtub Installation and Replacement
Very happy with the bathroom replacement, drywall work and tiling performed top notch work and service. Ben is very personable and accommodating to work with the homeowners schedule and a very great communicator with every step of the process!! I would highly recommend TAG for any project. The service, quality of work and pricing cant be beat. Im recommending TAG to my family and friends and I look forward to having any future work I might need performed by TAG!!

I had a small leak in a toilet and noticed one of the bolts to the floor was loose. I call TAG and received a call back shortly with a quote and service date. TAG arrived exactly on time, diagnosed the problem, a hairline crack in the water tank. Quoted me a price on a new toilet that was more than fair and arranged an install date. At that time I asked him to get a new kitchen fawcett also without asking for a quote . So they arrived on time, installed the toilet and fawcet and all at a more than fair price. A few weeks ago I needed a new gas water heater so I called Ben, didnât even need to ask price. Just like having a plumber in the family! professional, responsive, knowledgeable, seek affordable solutions, organized, friendly, dependable and above all, easy to work with, just like having a relative in the plumbing business.

I shaved a half star off because he was 20 minutes late, but otherwise he was great. Once he arrived, he was personable, and gave me a reasonable price for a small job (changing out a lavatory faucet), so I hired him on the spot. He proceeded to get the job done quickly and well. There were some difficulties removing the old hardware as it was corroded, etc., but he handled them, and he was congenial when I remembered that I had a time limit (a veterinarian appointment for my cat), and worked hard and fast to get done in time. Again, he was cheerful, personable, hard-working, reasonable with price, and did a good job. I would definitely hire him again and would recommend him to friends.

Ben did an excellent job replacing my hot water heater. He went above and beyond to double check his finished work and clean up/eradicate water that was left behind from the old tank. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional; and his price was very reasonable. I would definitely hire Ben again!

Shower Install or Replace
Work started on schedule but things got complicated. Ben said his phone was not working and then his truck was out of commission. Caulking around shower peeled off and old shower was left on premises.

"We stand by our workmanship, as well as our warranty. The reason we didn't finish the clean up, was because we were given the run-around for WEEKS when payment was requested. In regard to peeling caulk on the shower, the only thing that would have caused this, is if the customer didn't listen to our request to NOT USE THE SHOWER for 48 hours, so the caulk would bond. We always do our best to leave our customers, (or in this case, the people that are renting their home) satisfied with our workmanship. We would have returned, but the customer became verbally threatening, (before we were paid), so we made the unfortunate decision to not return."

Ben was very professional. He ran into an issue with routing the Utility sink to the water, but he did not give up. He stuck to the price he originally quoted me, even though it was more difficult and took more time. I would definitely hire TAG Constructors again. Excellent service.

They did a very bad job and he abandoned the project after long delays without finishing. After they found out about what needs to be fixed. They took away the pump without the owners permission.

"Jerry was extremely tough to work for. As always, we tried our best to make him happy, but unfortunately, no matter what we did he was never going to be satisfied. We did Extra work without charging him, and did our best to try to adhere to his short allowable working hours. We only took our pump in the basement, because WE PAID FOR IT, and had not been reimbursed."
