Most of the job was fine, but the primary challenge and the reason I hired them was that the house had settled in a way that the gutter could no longer drain to the downspout. I pointed this out initially and told them that was the long term goal, and they agreed to use 8-inch fascia boards so it would drain. When the job was completed it was 6-inch fascia and they assured me it would drain properly, and that the 8-inch wouldn?t work. The first time it rained, the gutter didn?t drain properly. I called back and they came out to address it without charge, which was great. But the next time it rained the gutter was back to not draining. They did a fine job overall, but seemed to dismiss that portion of the job, so we?ll need to do a similar fix a few years down the road.

We worked with TAG Exteriors to replace all our windows, dormers, siding, trim and doors. Jason helped us determine the best solutions at a fair price. The work was completed SO quickly...it was easy to tell their crews were prepared with the material and labor to tackle the job. Any issues after install (all minor) were addressed promptly at no additional cost. I'd highly recommend TAG and plan to use them in the future!

TAG Exteriors removed and replaced the roof over a bay window that had leaked. Their approach was to fix it correctly and not just caulk it or patch it. I appreciated the attitude and the honesty. I feel the repair was of high quality. Santiago and his crew did a great job, touched up the paint in the area and cleaned up everything to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend TAG.

For paying $1000 For less than 2 hours of caulking with no guarantee of their work, I was ripped off and disappointed that Angi would recommend this business.

"Mr. Timothy B. had window issues and needed someone immediately to come to his house to diagnose his problem, we originally set up for the next day, but a little later in the morning we had a slot open up and we got to his house before noon the same day he called. When we came out we found that the previous work he had done to his house was causing the issue, we explained that this repair would need to have a window specialist come out and take care of the issues to make sure any repair needed was done properly. We told him that it would be $1050 to be fixed, but we could do it in the next couple of days. He agreed and signed our paperwork. He called and wanted to cancel, I told him ok. We had a discussion about the person that was cheaper, and I asked if they were a window specialist or just someone caulking. It wasn't a specialist, and he did in fact decide he didn't was us to cancel and to go ahead and do it. We did it, he complained about the price even though we had already addressed it. I wanted him to be happy, so we gave him a discount he said he was good with. After that, we got a 2-star review. We did what our contract stated for the price we agreed on, and after talking to him months later, the water leak has stopped."

TAG repaired issues resulting from a leaking roof in my motherâ s vacant home. The damage extended to the attic and interior ceiling. TAG also arranged for an interior paint job. EVERYONE involved in the project promptly returned phone calls, answered questions, explained the repairs and did outstanding work - immediately! A very professional but friendly company. Turned a stressful situation into a positive experience.

During a storm late last year, my husband and I experienced multiple leaks in our ceiling. After extensive research into exterior contractors, we chose TAG Exteriors. After contacting TAG, we were made aware that our area had gone through 16 hail storms within the year. The entire roof as well as all of the siding, fascia, soffit, and gutters needed to be replaced. Needless to say, we were intimidated by the enormity of the project, but TAG handled the entire process, including all of the dealings with our insurance company. We were informed every step of the way regarding the information obtained from the insurance company as well as everything and everyone involved with replacing and updating the outside of our house. At the beginning of all of this, we found that our insurance coverage had dwindled in the years due to it being sold and resold to parent agencies. We were dismayed to learn that we were not as covered as we thought we were when we first bought the policy 15 years ago. The coverage was inadequate and would not pay for everything that we needed completed, at least thatâ s how it appeared, until Jason used his knowledge and negotiating skills to get us where we needed to be to get the job done. TAG handled EVERYTHING! We did not have to deal with price negotiations, contractors, building supply storesâ ¦ nothing. It was so easy and hassle-free and we got the repairs we needed as well as a total upgrade of our outdated siding. Basically, it looks like we got a brand new house thanks to TAG. The contractors that came to our house were courteous and professional and the entire house, literally from top to bottom, was completed to EXCEED our satisfaction and was done faster than we thought possible. If ever we need them, we WILL contact TAG Exteriors for all of our housing repair needs.

Tag Exterior went to bat for me when insurance would not cover the replacement of the entire roof after wind damage. They agreed to only half a roof. After 7 months of persistence. The insurance paid for the entire roof. Patience and persistence....

This is an update to my earlier review. I am happy to report that after some initial issues, the owner jumped in to remedy the situation. I appreciate that he took personal responsibility and followed-up to make sure the job would be completed to my satisfaction. The siding looks great. Todays technician was extremely polite, efficient, and professional. I appreciate that he took the time to explain why I had issues with my shutters and what he did to ensure there wouldnt be future issues.

"Jim, I am sorry to hear about your frustrations with our repair to your house. I have tried to call you multiple times since seeing this review to try and resolve this situation. Based on my knowledge of what happened, one of our reps (who no longer is employed with us) did not explain that we will not rehang, fabricate or rig any broken shutters, gutters, siding or screens. That is why they were not hung, when you called your rep about it, it was not brought to our attention because this is not allowed on our part. With that being said, if you get new shutters I will have someone come out and hang them as soon as you want. But I am sorry that our actions made you give us a 1-star review, that's the whole reason we do not rehang broken shutters, because it will result in an unhappy customer. My apologies, please let me know when we can come to hang new shutters. Jason R. Arthur"
