TCD Cleaning

The company's online availability dates are not accurate by a day there currently (home advisor) on a real time appointment availability . The only complaint I have with TCD is that our appointment was scheduled for 10:00 am per their phone call to us that morning after no call or show we called them back at 11:30 they apologized saying they accidentally went to the wrong address. Just in the future call the customer as soon as you realize the discrepancy so there not just hanging there not knowing whether your coming or not. They changed the time to 12:00pm in which they were on time.

Be aware in the Cincinnati area. I would choose virtually any other contractor. They were initially prompt in responding to my request, showed up on the scheduled day, and seemed to do a decent job. I was impressed enough to sign up for the maintenance plan (a return cleaning in 2 years) and I agreed to the UV lights for mold control. I needed two UV lights, and the TCD employee only had one. He said he would return the following evening to install both UV lights (one for each furnace). To make a very long story short, it was several phone calls and 6 weeks later, and still no completion of the job (which I mistakenly paid for in advance thinking it would be completed the same day). It was nearly impossible to reach the contractor. If I called his cellphone, I received a message that I couldn't leave a voicemail because his mailbox was full. When I called the company, I was connected with someone with an Atlanta area code. They were nice enough, but couldn't resolve the issue. They would simply tell me that they would pass on the message to the serviceman. I left several messages, but only received a couple return calls. I gave a final ultimatum, and he said he would be out the following day. It has now been nearly 7 weeks, and that was the last I heard from him. I tried to send a letter to the business address on the invoice. I outlined my experience, and explained what it would take to correct the situation. I can't say I was terribly surprised when I received my letter back today "Return to Sender, Not Deliverable as Addressed, Unable to Forward". The address I put on the envelope is the exact address on my invoice and on the website. In summary, STEER CLEAR AND FIND A DIFFERENT CONTRACTOR. I can't comment on all regions of the country, but my experience in Cincinnati was not good, and the organization was a great disappointment.

The guys were professional and fast. Everything was put back in place and they told us what they were doing and advised us on different services to use in the future. We signed up for the maintenance plan and air duct cleaning in the Spring.

Upon completion of the work, some vents were not replaced, and since the work had been complete, we are having issues with our furnace not running properly. This happened almost immediately. Was told upon selection that the team would run a check of the system. This clearly did not happen. I am waiting for resolution from management before I shell out more money. Feel like the ole bait and switch as I wait to find out "what's wrong".

the technician was courteous , he was on time , did a good job

Overall they did a very good job and they were friendly and fast. I have to get a damper installed in the fireplace so they have to come back for that and I don't know what the installation charge for that will be. I'm glad they can get it done for me, but I did have to pay for part in advance. Also, I would have preferred they put down a tarp because I had to do a lot of sweeping after they left .

This duo was very unprofessional. "Helper" helped himself to my upstairs bathroom without asking and had his cell phone in his face the entire time. They did call ahead of time and arrived during the time frame as promised.

They called prior to our appointment time to confirm the appointment. The representative was prompt, and provided good feedback about the condition of the chimney.

Did not show up for scheduled morning appointment. After calling the company, they said it was a 4-7 pm appointment, which was not accurate. Technician showed up at 630 PM in a "Duct Boyz" truck. Reports they bought Duct Boyz out in 11/2014 but have not changed trucks, voicemail, and billing to say TCD. Left a lot of dust and dirt around the registers, bent up duct work so that the intake vents do not sit level. This seems like a temporary problem that I can fix myself. When we changed our furnace filters the next day, there was a cat- sized dust and hair ball sitting on them. It was hard to pass up the price of $159.00, but there were red flags from the beginning. Check BBB for reviews. I am not convinced that TCD is not Duct Boyz who come with much worse reviews than TCD.

very professional, did a great job !!

The guy that came out was very professional and courteous. He came when he said he would. He did a wonderful job. He was unable to take care of one thing but only because two people needed to be there and he was by himself. He made sure I knew what to say when I called back to have them come out to take care of the issue and he made a note on my account just in case he wasn't the one that came back. I would definately recomend this company.

The service person showed up promptly and was friendly and worked quickly. He explained what he had done and his inspection of the chimney to my satisfaction. I would have preferred that a protective sheet or layer was put down as I have a light colored carpet and wood floors. I was concerned about soot on the carpet and sctatches on the floor but neither occured.

The job I hired them for was a fireplace inspection, how ever it got misbooked as a cleaning and inspection.They got it straightened out fast and did a good job for me and comped the cleaning for the mix up. I plan on having them back for another job on the heat ducts soon.

The service technician (Twon) was very professional, nice and knowledgeable and informative. We really liked him and felt very comfortable with him in our home! Our home feels and smells so much cleaner, after the first night I could tell that my allergies were already much better! I would highly recommend their services to anyone I know! We will use them again for our next air duct cleaning. We also purchased the U-V light for our furnace, I'm so thankful we did! My mother-in law lives with us and has azma and can already tell a difference in her breathing, what a Blessing!!!
