Wonderful company. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and timely. Did more than just replace the part, he did a spring check as well! Prices were very reasonable. I spent more on Arctic Air, trying to survive until I could get the AC fixed. Now, i will return the unopened ones and put Texas Pride's card on my 'fridge. No more AC fears. What a relief to find such a good company!

Our air conditioner, which was just "repaired" for doing the same thing a week before went out overnight and so I checked on Angie's list to find someone since I did not want to go back to the same company that had not fixed it. Richard called me and they fit me in on the same day. He found the issue with a capacitor and a short in my thermostat. The other company had been out the week before and said I needed to replace my refrigerant at a cost of $1800 which I thought was ridiculous since it was cooling fine just before it went out. Richard checked it and said it was fine and I'm great shape. He did not have the correct thermostat but provided me one to get the house cooled and is coming back out on Friday, 6/18 to provide me with a new, correct one at no additional charge. Great service and honest. Wish I had called him before instead of going with the more well known company that would have charged me around $2000 with service call and refrigerant! I ended up just having to pay a little over $300. Very happy!!

I was disappointed, I felt that they mainly wanted to sell me a new AC unit instead of offering to repair or help maintain my system. But the conflict of interest exists for most of the AC service providers. They make their money most easily by selling systems. It is difficult to get unbiased opinions from companies that sell systems.

My experience was professional and they came over 30 miles to repair my air! The price is reasonable and after posting on Home Advisor they responded within the hour!

I have them service for air conditioners in order to keep my home warranties in tact. They were very thorough. They also let me know that two of my tenants were not keeping their air conditioning filters changed. There were a few extra charges as a result of the dirty filters but that problem it’s on the tenants since the contract requires them to change filters every month. I have no complaints and I would easily recommend this company.
