T F G Contracting

Hired Kern to add on to my home and remodel first floor. The addition came out well the remodeling appeared lovely. Work that I had asked to be done, such as plumb for additional heat for upstairs while the existing was being replaced wasn?t done. Very specific on this request as bedroom was going to be split into two and was going to need heat. This wasn?t done though was assured it would be. Kitchen plumbing left unvented, sink wouldn?t drain. Found a broken water line to one of my radiators, took apart refused to fix. Never finished clean up left house filthy. Everything good done has vanished by his disappearance at the end of the project and last minute cancellation of last project to finish the house. Have spent over $2000 fixing and will have to spend more to retrofit the plumbing upstairs. All the love for how he transformed my home totally destroyed by his shutdown of communication and sudden nastiness after he got paid. Never expected this from him at all. The different contractors I?ve had in the house fixing go on and on about the shoddiness of some of the work. Very upset, angry and sad at this whole situation.

Kern and his team were fantastic. They did a full remodel of our bathroom and I could not be happier. They were professional, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and the quality of work was beyond my expectations. We have had bad luck finding a contractor for the last 5 years. Family team. Seems to enjoy the work they do. Very patient , flexible and innovative. They did a nice job with the deck. They also did do some upgrades in our kitchen.

I hired TFG to redo my dining room and living room ceiling after a roof leaked. The work was excellent and the price was too.

I hired TFG to replace an old broken elevated deck on my house. They were prompt with an estimate and quick to start the job. Once the work began they were even able to salvage some of the previous structure and save me some money! They were consultative and professional through the whole process. And the best part is we are now enjoying a wonderful outdoor space just in time for the nice weather. The quality and craftsmanship of the deck is excellent. Thanks TFG. We will be hiring TFG again.

They didn't do the best job the flooring has several spaces small but i see it the vanity wasn't installed properly it wasnt secured and the top moves there is a chip in the corner of the top that my baby has hit her head on. The drain in my tub was replaced and the water leaks out more than before. And the shower curtain rod wasn't secured properly so it falls and I had to put duct tape to hold it up. The toilet isnt flushing easily I have to hold the handle down for 8 seconds before ot flushes fully. I have contacted the guy to fix this stuff and he keeps saying he hasnt forgot about me well

I hired TFG to gut and remodel a half bathroom in a rental property I manage. They did good work on a budget. Very happy with them.

Kerm and his workers were very competent and developed some clever solutions for a few issues which arose.

Replaced our front steps .. Did a excellent job

Carpenter Ants had destroyed my foundation's sill plate where the desk attaches. Kern and crew cut away my deck, jacked up of that portion of the house, removed the old and replaced the new sill plate, lowered the house (with no interior damage), reattached the deck and cleaned up all mess. I will be hiring them again for a kitchen remodel.

They fixed a few things during the remodel. I am planning more work, another bathroom and new flooring in one of my bedrooms to be done in the spring

We ended up doing while house Reno. They are wonderful to work with and so helpful!
