Great and timely work, but if there something wrong it takes weeks for him to come back after many calls and excuses. And within a year of the job being completed we have leaks and he ignores us.

When you need something new installed they respond in 2mins but I need leak fixed outside that leaks called 7 times calls back but never shows up to look at the problem

Troy and his crew did an outstanding job. I was blow away by the speed and quality of their work.

Contacted Troy Fay for an estimate. After giving him my address he was able to give me a preliminary estimate and I arranged for him to come to my house and we walked the property and I explained to him what I wanted. The new estimate while higher included everything I wanted. After picking out the color we were given a date of early April for installation. I was contacted last week and the material came in early and we set a new date. His crew showed up on schedule and did a great and very professional job. My house looks brand new. Everything on the contract was covered. Payments were one third after the contract agreed to, one third after material delivered and final payment after completion. Clean up was great with nails and all debris cleaned up. I would highly recommend Fay contracting. The owner was very professional, was in contact as needed and the work crew great.

Great work, great price

The roof was stripped and replaced on 12-18-2020. I do not know about the quality of the work yet, since I need time to determine leaking and strength during a storm and adverse weather. However, the job site was poorly cleaned. The roofing crew left behind hundreds of nails and staples in the gravel driveway, flowerbeds, walkway, deck, and patio. I had to buy my own magnet and spent several hours cleaning up. I am still not confident that all of the nails have been removed out of harms way, especially the driveway. The owner apologized to me via text on 12-27-2020 after I had a chance to inspect the property. He said he would clean up again, but never visited the property. Poor service.

Very quick response and easy to talk to. Best price out of 4 quotes. Good, fast work. Troy did his best to find what I wanted in stock when it was seemingly back ordered everywhere.

Troy tore off my old roof and replaced it. Complete job with new gutters. I also used his crew to make repairs to my damaged ceilings. Just outstanding work and customer service. We hired Troy to do a number of jobs in our house back in the fall of 2019 including some repair work, painting, and installing pallet boards on the basement walls. My father originally gave me Troys father as a recommendation, as he had done some work on his house and was very happy with both the work and the follow-up. Unfortunately Troys father was busy and referred me to his son. Most of the work that they did was pretty good and overall I was relatively happy with the job. The problem that I had was that when they repaired some of the sheetrock cracks in the ceiling they simply spackled over them instead of retaping, this was confirmed by the person that I eventually got to make the repairs. The cracks reappeared a couple of days after the job ended, and I immediately called Troy to make him aware of the issue. Unlike before the job started I had a difficult time even getting in touch with him. Prior to and at the beginning of the job, Troy was very communicative and he follow up was immediate. However, once the job ended he rarely responded to either my calls or texts. Eventually I communicated with him a number of times and he repeatedly stated that he would send one of his workers to make the repairs. At one point he had the nerve to text me asking me how much snow was outside in my area as he had a snow plowing account near me and did not want to waste his time coming up if he didn't need to. In addition at one point he sent me a text saying that he had a break in his schedule and was available to do some additional painting that I had asked about. I responded that I was not in the position to have the painting done and asked about the repair that he had promised to do. No reply. During the same time that I was trying to get Troy to fix the work that I had already paid him for, my father needed to have a couple of things taken care of, and Troys father was quick to respond. My father mentioned to Troys father the lack of follow up by his son and a short while later Troy again said that he would have one of his workers come by. This went on for some time over the course of December and I finally got someone else to do the repair. I will say that for a guy who states I pride myself on reliability, great communication, integrity, and quality work he fell way short. I will, however, say that Troys workers were very nice throughout the job and always took their time to answer and explain any questions that we had. It is for these reasons that I have given Troy one star for his review, and as such would strongly discourage anyone from using him. Troy if you happen to read this I would recommend that you work a bit harder on following up with customers and gain a greater understanding of maintaining a good reputation.

He gave me a very competitive estimate among the 3 We gathered- Troy followed up several times ( unlike the other contractors). We are very happy with the work done and the clean up afterwards was impeccable. We highly recommend T Fay if you need a new roof on your home!
