T G B Service Contractor is all residential electrical service and repairs, all residential lawn and sprinkler repairs. I am California licensed, C-36 Plumbing and C-10 Electrical. Tom showed up on time and was super friendly. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do the full job we had planned for, our attic space was not large enough for Tom to move around. He was able to fix issues with certain outlets though.

Tom arrived on time. He knew his stuff. He was fast and efficient. I supplied some switches and what I didn't have, he had on his truck. Price may have come out to more than I thought for the work that was done.

He was very polite, on time, and was able to asses the project from pictures I sent to him over the phone. He was able to install a new ceiling light while upgrading the electrical line needed for the microwave.. He was also able to detect a problem w/ an existing breaker and was able to fix past errors and bring everything up to code.

This electrician totally ripped me off. We hired him when we were having trouble with the electricity to our home. Lights were blinking on and off. He went around checking every outlet in our home for three hours at $150 per hour or $450. He refused to give me a receipt saying he would mail it. I called twice to remind him but he never gave an itemized receipt. He finally quit taking my calls. We later found out that all he needed to do was look at our 30 year old electrical box that was arcing, sparking, and corroded and give us an estimate. We went to yelp and found Valery, a five star reputable electrician who came out and told us what the problem was for $100 house call and $1000 to fix it. This electrician gave us a temporary fix so our house would not burn down until his crew could come two weeks later for final repair. We have a beautiful result that even our electric company said was outstanding when we called them to check the work.

"What this customer isn't telling us is that she was not at home for this service call. Typical case of negotiating with one spouse while the other is not present. The other part of the problem was half of the house non op. Checking for a tripped breaker and loose connections i found an arching main lug. So there were two issues. After troubleshooting the faulty circuitt and repairing many loose and improper connections , while the main lug was cutting in and out, made it a very difficult situation. I advised to replace the defective Federal Pacific panel immediatly and replied with a fair bid. Her husband was understanding and fine with all this. Since the circuit problem was unresolved, i discounted the 3 hr call $50. Turns out, when camille comes home, " oh, there's another breaker panel hidden behind a picture". The circuit problem was merely a tripped breaker in the hidden panel, which I had suggested to her husband as a possibility while troubleshooting. Had me chasing a ghost for three hours. Lose lose situation, sorry you are not happy with my service and rates. TGB"

Liked Tom right off the bat. He did not push anything on me as I knew what I wanted, but he did manage to sell me an earthquake gas shut off valve for both my properties as well as the electrical work!!. Gave great advice and explained everything that needed to be explained and answered questions appropriately and in a way a novice can understand!. Would certainly recommend him and will use again whenever anything else needs to be done.

They showed up on time,completed the work cheerfully and efficiently .I paid them a bit more than what they asked for initially because it took them more time. But they did not ask for extra comp,which I appreciated,and they were very thankfull.

Tom of T.G.B was a super quick response to my request for service. Arrived on time was very professional and quick to fix the short in the outlets on my rental. Service was excellent and cost more than fair. I was in the construction business for over 30 years and Tom is one of the best electrical contractors that I have worked with.
