I obtained bids from three contractors. Mike's bid was about half as much as the high bidder. He and his workers are very professional, competent, and friendly. My wife and I are very pleased with the work they did.

According to my wife, representatives of Taylor Home Improvements were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional in conduct. Further, they were expedient while also being helpful.

Mike and Holly are good to work with. They prefer communicating over e-mail, which works best for us, so that was easy. I did most of the communicating with them, and I felt that they were quite responsive. I felt that they addressed problems that arose well. They would provide a good description of the problem and suggest at least a couple of alternative solutions. My caution is that if you are picky about finish work, they probably aren't the company for you. For example, neither wall nor floor tiles are on a perfect grid, and they left excess caulk and grout on a lot of surfaces.

THE IDEA OF MOVING THE WATER HEATER OVER TO CREATE MORE SPACE WAS EXCELLENT. OVERALL CONSTRUCTION WAS GOOD AND WAS WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. MORE TIME NEEDED TO BE SPENT ON THE DRYWALL AND BASEBOARD.

Great work. Easy to work with and professional. If you want quality work from a great contractor Mike and Holly do a great job. They facilitate and offer their opinions and suggestions but ultimately the choice is yours.
