T&K came to the house to discuss the job within a couple of days. However, he kind of forgot to call me with his estimate. When I finally got in touch with him, he gave me a quote of $550, which I accepted. Upon completion of the job, he told me the cost would be $800. When you are an older person, living on SS and a modest pension, this is quite a surprise to the pocketbook. I did discuss it with him, and he just shrugged his shoulders. For that, I am not too happy.
