The new name of their company is TLC Tree & Landscape Company, Inc. These people are real pros! They removed a 70 foot tall maple tree that was too close to my house and in the way of building a stairway and deck off the screened in porch. One of the workmen climbed the tree and cut it down in pieces- he did not use a bucket lift. Fascinating to watch, and took excellent safety precautions. Best of all, they brought a large wood chipper and fed all the branches and smaller trunk pieces into the chipper as they went, giving us a nice pile of natural wood chips for landscaping, with NO MESS to clean up!

Jeff was great on taking down the tree, and even grinding the stump out the next day, which he said he normally does not work on. Initial customer service was good. However, I was disappointed in not hearing back after email confirmation on brush removal which I was told would be done at no charge, and trying to reach out the day of to confirm if they would be there. No call back, and unable to leave voice mails as both the office and cell phones mail boxes are full. I ended up having to cut the brush down to haul away myself. I would be clear in what is and is not included in the agreement.

If you recall I had said I would try to get the crew to swing by to chip the brush when we were on a neighboring job, if we had room in the truck and time at the end of the day and did not guarantee that. You received a $200 discount off your bill for no disposal. I understand you had scheduled work being done that meant you needed the brush removed this week however that neighboring job is still in progress. I communicated multiple times with you and your wife but unfortunately as your price did not include haul away chipping or disposal I cannot send a crew to do that for free, as you say. It was only if"

I initially had problems with this company regarding communication, however, I learned that it was due to not receiving texts due to technical issues not because they were not following up. Oliver recently stopped by and removed a stump for me. He was polite and professional and did his best to clean up the clippings when he was done. Laurie has been professional and polite throughout the process. Their price was reasonable. I will definitely consider them for future landscape and tree work. Recommend contacting Laurie if you need tree work or general landscape work completed. Thanks, Laurie and Oliver for your services.

Travis and his crew were fantastic and did a great job. Travis knew We were on a time schedule of getting that done prior to starting the addition and even though it was scheduled to be done on Friday morning , he called Tuesday morning asking if it was alright to come over that day and do the work three days early. The job was done earlier than scheduled and done as promised.

Travis et al arrived on time and ready to work. They were "under the gun" because of an impending weight limit for our street. They worked late, and got the job done with a little clean-up to do the next day (Saturday!) I'd give them a perfect score on quality if the ATV they used to drag logs had not torn up our lawn a bit. Travis is easy to work with and looks for opportunities to improve things, always with the client's approval. Would definitely use again.

We were totally happy with the responsiveness and quality of the tree work performed by TLC Tree Service. During a recent storm we had a large tree fall on the roof of our cottage in Gray, ME. I had called several tree services and most did not bother to return my call but TLC responded immediately, then went to the site to assess the situation and provided me with an estimate within a couple of hours. I accepted their estimate and Travis and his crew were on-site the next morning, quickly removed the tree on the roof, cut down the remaining trunk, cleaned up the brush created by the falling tree, took care of a couple of other dead trees, and also sealed any damage done to the roof by the falling tree. As I was in another state at the time, Travis kept me informed as to their progress and also emailed me pictures of the completed work. We were totally satisfied with TLC Tree Service and plan to use them for all our future tree work. TLC is an excellent tree service and we recommend they be your first call whenever you need tree work.

Travis and his crew did a great job removing some rather large trees from close to our house and power line. They arrived early and got immediately down to business. They were professional, courteous and worked together like a well-oiled machine. Obviously had done this sort of thing before. Had the job complete and entirely cleaned up quickly. We are completely satisfied with the work done by TLC Tree and will definitely be hiring them again for our tree needs. TLC Tree is a friendly, honest company to work with. We had one 100 tree to remove and another to be topped. Travis stopped by on a Saturday and provided us with a fair estimate. He called Monday evening to tell us he would remove the trees on Tuesday. They arrived before 8:00 AM and were done and cleaned up by 9:30 AM. All tree debris was removed. 09/11/2018: TLC Tree did a great job for us last year, so we asked them to come back and remove another dying tree this year. We sent an email on 8/29 requesting the tree be removed sometime in September. The day after Labor Day Travis called and offered to take down the tree the next day. Unfortunately we were out of town, but he told us as long as we were ok with taking down the tree in our absence he would take it down. When we returned it was hard to tell that any tree work had been done. There were no sticks, leaves or even sawdust, but the tree was gone. Another excellent job done by Travis and crew. We highly recommend TLC Tree for any tree work you may have.

TLC office scheduled us for Tuesday. TLC workers (owner, Travis and Colin) called on Monday to see if doing job on Monday would work for us. We were eager to have it done, and Monday was good for us. Travis and Colin came when they said they would, assessed the job, gave an "estimate" (really, a quote), did the job as agreed. Workers were pleasant, professional, had fine senses of humor, obviously loved their work and worked safely and professionally. They knew what they were doing. I was very favorably impressed. We'll be hiring them for any tree work that we need in the future. (I'm poor with names, so I might be misremembering Travis name.)
