Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
The man did not perform the floor repairs according to my specifications. I had a rotted area about 2 feet across in the laundry room. I had specified patching the floor joists with 8 foot pieces. He left the rotted wood in place and just screwed down new plywood over the existing floor and installed linoleum over that. Then he told me he could not quote a price for replacing an old ceiling fan with a new one. I was supplying the fan. He then showed me the national average after the job was done, $242 and wanted that amount. By reading today I found that was the price for a new installation with him supplying the fan. And today my renter called to get his name so she could report him to the Police for stealing several of her tools as he packed up to leave. Needless to say, I do not want to hire him or anyone like him ever again.
