"I am sorry you feel this way, I wish you would have contacted us we would have been happy to try to resolve any issues you had with the work we did. There are several inaccuracy's in your comments. You suggested an 8 foot ramp when we first met, I explained the trucks you wanted to run over the ramp wouldn't need such a large ramp and it would be more materials and labor to put in the larger one so you selected the smaller one. Something your boss had the option to change for just the additional materials cost the day we started the project and he declined because he didn't want to spend the additional funds. You never mentioned forklifts-you very specifically stated several times that only medium and large trucks would be using the ramp and the weight of the trucks was your concern. If we had known there were going to be forklifts used on the ramp then we would have made a different suggestion as to the length. Bollards-Most are made of concrete wrapped with either steel or plastic (without the concrete in the center they tend to dent really easily)-We gave you prices for both in writing-you chose concrete because steel was 3x the material price. We had no preference for this add on; labor was the same. The wall comments I am very confused about- it was a several hundred dollar repair we did for you to help you out for FREE-Samuel also asked you while we were fixing it-if you wanted him to put a finishing coat on it to make it look pretty and not just functional and you responded "it doesn't matter what it looks like just make sure it works, no on is really going to see it" The entire project was completed at 1/3 of the cost of the lowest of the three bids you received, you are correct we did have equipment issues that morning-unfortunately it does happen however, we worked on a Sunday for you to make up the additional time and finish the project over the weekend (in the same 1-2 day time period) so that it had zero effect on your business on Monday. We really liked working with you and loved everyone we met, I am sorry that it didn't turn out exactly like you wanted."
