"We suggest you not call a professional (who showed up within the hour) next time. Maybe take care of the issue yourself. Our technicians give a quote to our customers before beginning work. If a customer has an issue with pricing after accepting the quote, and work was not completed satisfactorily, they are welcome to speak with a manager. Accepting quotes, commenting on tech on his work, paying the invoice with a smile, then leaving a one-star review is just bad form."
"This job was quoted to the husband (reviewer was not present at the time of service) at $495 due to the location of the work in a cluttered basement. Since the husband was a pleasant person to work with and the job was completed in just over an hour, pulling heavy roots from the line at 30 feet and running to the city connection at 75 feet, our technician, at his own discretion, lowered the price to $395. Commercial drain cleaning is coded at a discounted price for the volume of work from our commercial customers. It is hard to tell what is in a clog line or how long it will take when we quote our jobs . We do our best"
