I am so glad I found them when I did. I needed an evaluation done prior to selling our property. It was under contract and I was under a very tight deadline but they came out very quickly. They were very thorough and they educated me on the structural integrity of the property. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. They sent a formal report pretty quickly as well. Would HIGHLY recommend them!

Mr. Mizelle performed a foundation inspection for us. He is the utmost example of professionalism and courtesy. His knowledge and evaluation saved us thousands of dollars, as a large foundation corporation was prepared to overcharge us for unnecessary work. I highly recommend TRM and Associates to anyone in need of a structural engineer.

Tyler did a wonderful job. He provided the information needed to understand the next steps of completing a renovation gone bad. Original contractor didn't get building permits for opening interior walls and doing foundation work under master bath, master cluster conversion. Tyler verified foundation work met/exceeded minimum standards and confirmed interior openings didn't have proper headers. His expertise and report allows for renovations to continue without being in the dark and continuing to be in a vulnerable position. As an inspiring REI, I look forward to Tyler being part of my team of go to experts to rely on

Very knowledgeable and friendly. He came out to look over some concerns I had over my house and laid out that there was no problem and cause for concern. Also, I had an issue with the final report he submitted and he worked with me on getting the issue corrected and clarified.

Great communication, friendly. Came out on short notice. My general contractor liked him and thought he was very thorough. We are in Texas having complete reno done in Virginia so I relied on my GC to work with Tyler and I would hire him again if needed. He consulted and evaluated if we were able to move a column that was supporting beams on middle floor of 3 story beach home. Unfortunately it wasn't feasible but just knowing we had that knowledge helped us move on in our reno without being as frustrated with the column once we had knew it was what it was and we just had to plan around it.

Way more than I expected! I thought he was going to come out take measurements and charge me. We spent an hour and a half going over my project and what I was expecting to accomplish. Not only was he outgoing on educating me in the process but he explained what the contractor I hire should be doing. His work saved me in the long run.

We hired Tyler on short notice and he accommodated our needs by coming over after normal business hours to inspect repairs our builder made under the house. We are very happy we hired TRM & Associates. Tyler had the ability to translate industry jargon into plain English, and used a notebook to draw and explain various concepts. As to the job, he confirmed that the repair under the house was done acceptably. But he also found an issue in the attic that needed correction, by comparing the actual construction (that looked unconventional to him) to the architect s plans. We asked him for his report ASAP, so we could get it to the builder, but we were still surprised to receive it before noon the next day. We highly recommend Tyler and his firm.

I was very impressed with Tyler. He promptly responded to my phone calls and texts before the appointment. He arrived a little early and was extremely pleasant the entire time he was here. I had many structural concerns with a home I just bought. Tyler took the time to listen to me, went through each room/area of the home inside and out, and was able to give knowledgeable feedback on my home. I had many concerns with the attic, and he took a lot of time looking at the structure and helping with issues. He was honest and able to save me money from contractors that wanted to charge me for a bunch of fixes I did not need. Most importantly, he also told me things to look out for with my home in the future, suggestions on bettering the structure of my home, what I need and did not need, and was very patient with me throughout the visit. I had a long list of things for him to look at, and he was extremely thorough with all his answers. It is worth every penny to hire him. His prices for the visit and report are comparable and fair to other structural engineers. He is really great to work with!
