I was blessed when T-RYAN Contracting Inc. offered to undertake my roofing project. These expert contractors, (Florida State Certified Contractors since 1983), restored my faith that construction contractors out there you can trust with your most valuable asset; your home still exist. The owner is sympathetic to challenges faced by homeowners in south Florida. His company can be trusted to provide the best service possible - GUARANTEED. Unlike other contractors, which seem to be a construction training course for unskilled laborers to develop their incompetence at the expense of the home owner, T-RYAN Contracting Inc.’s expert contractors showed up to work on day one early, motivated and eager to “git ‘er done”!! This crew of professionals accomplished 2 weeks of work in just four days. It looked like that ole cartoon where all you see is arms, elbows, hammers and nails, moving around in a cloud of dust. They did it with discipline, attention to detail and just pure grit. Putting in twelve or fourteen hour days (or more) of true honest hard work, on a hot roof, in the scorching South Florida sun, is no cake walk. Then, if that were not enough, driving on like a Sherman tank, they continue after the sun goes down. Makes you wonder where Mr. Gould gets these men of steel! They are phenomenal, a reflection of their boss, honest hard workers ALL. His crew is great, but Mr. Gould is outta this world, not only did he outbid the competition, he had me the initial quote within a day or two. Of the other three I consulted, two never bothered to call back and the other one was obviously not interested. His bid was like him – out in left field. Not Mr Gould - always professional, always interested, always ready to listen. When modifications were discussed the price quoted back was reasonable. He didn’t try running up his profit margin by gouging the customer for essentials. Like surgeons – Mr. Gould obviously stays aware of the latest and best technology available on the market. A portion of my project was the flat roof. T-RYAN Contracting Inc. is “green” alright. He recommend this material I had never even heard of before. “Have you considered TPO because of the superior benefits it provides”?. “TPO?” I asked. He explained; what Thermoplastic polyolefin was and that it is used in many types of commercial properties. TPO roofing is ENERGY STAR® certified and complements energy-efficient doors and windows (like the ones I have). It is a single-ply roofing membrane providing superior protection from ozone, UV rays, and chemical exposure. He explained that TPO roofing systems are durable, heat-reflective, and its highly energy-efficient properties are environment-friendly. Very Happy best quality in service for the price

My roof is less than one year old and leaks like a sieve.....I have attempted to call the owner and he does not answer my calls. I paid 37K for a roof that was shoddily thrown up....he quit before the job was finished, he got me into a conflict with HARC who I had to hire a lawyer to resolve....I am now seeking legal action.

I had T Ryan Contracting install a metal roof in January of 2016. His website says that his company warranties their work for 10 years. His website posts that colored metal finish is warranted by the manufacturer for 30 years. His website still shows he works in the Florida Keys but he said he does not now. His website still says he has an office in the Keys. The State of Florida Licensing shows license #CCC025496 is active and that his primary address is in Cudjoe Key. He has posts on Home Advisor from customers in the Keys in 2020 as well. I sent him pictures of the bottom edge of my roof rusting after 59 months and said I needed a warranty claim. His exact text response was, AND I QUOTE, **We no longer have an office in the keys don, gave up trying to hire people there and no one in the keys has a finish warranty on a metal roof given the proximity to the saltwater unless they paid a huge premium for aluminum. Even the aluminum roof warranty would have been voided by hurricane Irma though. Sorry for the bad news. That is unusually bad peeling of the finish not sure ever saw that**. He never told me when I hired him that the finish warranty did not apply, that a hurricane would void any warranties, and that he would not stand behind his advertised 10-year installer warranty. Monroe County shows T Ryan Contracting and Tim Gould as active with license #09608 and active live permits in the Keys. When I challenged him about this, he said that he told me that he did not have an office here not that he did not work here. I said he inferred his warranty against poor workmanship would not apply because he was not here. It was not defective metal as the only rust was along the edge of the south roof where his crew cut the edge of the metal. All other panels were fine. I filed a complaint with the FLA Dept of Professional Regulation and paid a reputable roof contractor $4000 to replace all the panels on the south-facing roof. I am, in his words, a nasty person. I have photos and text messages. This is not made up. I gave him a good review at the time. However, everyone gets a good review until they fail to live up to workmanship issues and claims. Customer service after a problem separates the good from the bad contractors.

They were very easy to work with I was in Pa. when we contracted them to do the work and they did it while we were not here where the work was being done in Marathon . They sent pictures each step of the way and kept us up to date. They did a wonderful job when we finally came to Marathon and saw the roofs they looked great.

Keeps you updated via Emails and Pictures of work. Crew was friendly and worked hard. Only Roofer who provided a Warranty on the roof. Was upfront about replacing worn wood on roof and extra costs. Its now been 3 years since the roof was installed. Other than two discovered leaks of which ONE the Contractor had fixed, roof is holding up fine. One personal 50 foot extension cord was never returned, even when inquired about. One hurricane shutter lock was damaged during the project. I maintain a 3.5 rating.

Great Job, worked quickly. Finished with no extra costs! Very good communication.

Worked hard to see that the job was done well and on time. All employees were polite and tolerant of my questions. Language occasionally was "salty" and audible through the stripped roof.
