T.S. Century Hardwood Floor

My husband and I have just moved into our new home. We thought the wood floors were just dirty but it turned out they had been damaged. Son came out and gave us a very reasonable quote and explained the process. Son came out today to do the job and we could not be happier. It only took about 4 hours and floors look brand new. When Son pulled up the carpet we saw an wood floor covered with divots. Can't imagine what could do so much damage. He refinished the floor to a jaw dropping beautiful oak floor, even refinishing the closet. Our only regret is that waited so long to do it! Son was great to work with-quick response, on time and explained what was needed.

Our project involved refinishing and installing white oak flooring in a 70-year old house. 4 rooms, stairs, and a hallway, with 3 different starting points: original hardwood floor of unknown condition hidden under wall-to-wall carpet (two rooms and stairway), original hardwood flooring DIY-refinished with furniture stain by previous owners (hallway and one room), and carpet over old linoleum tile (one room). The goal was to refinish the existing hardwood and install new flooring in the room without, so that all match. This included installing baseboard/base cap in one of the rooms to match the rest of the house. Son Vu seemed to be as committed to the success of the project as we were and offered excellent advice throughout the process. Son has great aesthetic sense and deep knowledge of the materials. For example, when the footprint (in plywood) of old closet walls was found under the carpeting in one room, not only did he replace it seamlessly with matching planks, he used reclaimed white oak from his own stock, knowing that it would absorb stain the same way and better match the rest of the floor than would new planks (even though we had plenty on hand). Son is fair, honest, and patient with questions and explanationsâ a good communicator. Critically for this jobâ which required coordination with furniture movers and a week-long hotel stayâ Son was punctual and kept right to project schedule. T.S. We hired Son to install 4 rooms of hardwood and refinish 2 rooms of wide pine boards in one home and over 3000 sq feet of 1890's hardwood in another, including stairs and matching and replacing areas too damaged to repair. And in the midst of Covid. timely, hardworking, well versed and followed CDC guidelines at all times. A real craftsman. the floors look amazing. Price very fair. This guy knows his stuff and really cares about the finished product and that you are 100% satisfied!

We hired Son Vu on two occasions to replace and refinish water damaged hardwood flooring. Couldn’t be happier with his responsiveness, quality work and excellent rates. He was able to blend replaced sections with the remaining floor beautifully. And he’s a nice guy to boot! Highly recommend.

We hired Son Yu to install hard wood floors in 5 rooms and refinish existing wood in two rooms. He Is by far the most responsive and prompt contractor I have ever hired. Very honest and prompt, showed up early every day even worked on Sunday. Quality of work was very impressive, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to install new or refinish existing floors.

They did a superb job & were able to schedule me reasonably quick! The job looks incredible, they repaired many sections of the floor for me, but one section on the stairs is not up to my standards - instead of replacing the full stair, they replaced the 'front' half of the stair so now there is a seam running along the tread - not ideal in my mind, however, everything else still looks incredible & we're very happy! Our floors look incredible!

Son and his worker did an excellent job, and the floor looks beautiful. They came exactly when they said they would, came back the second day when planned, and were very easy to work with. They did a good job containing the dust to the room they were working on. Son provides service as it should be, and I recommend them 100%.

Sean arrived promptly on a rainy July morning with another installer to remove existing carpeting and install a new, prefinished, oak, hardwood floor. I had asked that he match the existing flooring from the adjoining dining room for a seamless look. Wow! In less than 2 1/2 hours, they transformed my living room from drab to fantastic. The transition from the new floor to the old floor is barely noticeable. This company has everything going for them. Fairly priced, prompt, customer service oriented and with quality workmanship that would impress the fussiest of consumers. Hire them. Win win.

I had hired another wood flooring company who did not show up on the agreed upon date. I immediately began looking for another contractor thru home advisor. Von Su the owner called me within minutes came out at 6 pm that night to look at the job came back at 8 am THE NEXT DAY and got the job done.
