T. Savarese & Son Window & Door

It was a simple project, but Tony Savarese called right away, returned my call when I called back, came in a reasonable amount of time to give me an estimate and set a date for the work to be done, came on time, and finished the job promptly and successfully. He was friendly, helpful, direct, and competent. What more could a person want?

At the end of the day, good job in replacing my very large double thick window; 3' x 6' window approximately. Mr. Savarese seemed competent in window-work. It was a difficult job handling this very large window by himself but he was able to complete it with aplomb. After dispute on the presented invoice, Mr. Savarese was ultimately in agreement with the quoted price, which was an e-mailed estimate, sent in advance of the job. There had been a delay and a missed appointment in having the work completed, but this was due to intercurrent illness on his part, he stated. Attention to confirming appointment was better later on.

His job was very neat.

The professional did not have business cards, receipts or all supplies with him. He was efficient and gave a fair price for the job.

I just want to highly recommend Tony Savarese. He was communicative, had great ideas to fix my problems, and responsive. He actually sent me digital photos of before and after. He looked at my place and found a few other things that needed to be fixed that I was unaware of and was proactive in fixing those as well. It is a great peace of mind that I have knowing that Tony will take care of my place in Boston because I live across country and need someone I can depend on. Andrea Testa

Mr. Savarese initially contacted me on 11/16 via ServiceMagic. He was the only of the 4 contractors given willing to give an est., a month later. After the est., he stated I would have my new window "by Xmas". The week after Xmas came and I was contacted again, stating he'd be by the first week of January. On 1/5/06, Mr. Savarese came to my home and half removed the board on the broken window to get the check behind it. He took the check & claimed the window glass he was to install broke on installation & he'd be by to reinstall next week. We have discontinued business with Mr. Savarese & have placed a stop order on the check.

I misunderstood the quote,was not for glass,was fo new window.. great company..

There was a mix up in the email auto reply sent to the contractor. Tony reached out to me personally and resolved the matter.
