"Cindy B. When asked over the phone about how much a restringing would cost, I quoted the minimum for two strings, and that additional strings would be an additional $10. Per string, I also told informed you as I do with all my customers that there is an inspection fee of $35 that if I do a cleaning or repair will be credited to you on either the cleaning or the repair, when I arrived at your home we discussed the fact that your blind had 4 strings and was a cordless blind, that was the reason for the $90 quote, and that some cordless blinds cannot be restrung, but if you wanted I could check for you, You agreed to have me check on this for you, After opening up the top rail of your blind I saw that your blind did not need restringing, the lift mechanism had broken, when I called the manufacturer. They said that they no longer allow the lift mechanism to be repaired outside the factory service center, the reason being quality control, all of which I did communicate with you. I apologize for any miscommunication on my part. Thank you, Mike Walker"
