I had another company involved when my a/c via the heat pump stopped working. I was paying them their monthly fee to be a premium member and they said it would take them a week before they could see me. I told them forget it and stop billing me. I called another company who sent out a tech who was unable to fix the problem. When asked for a quote for a new system, the quote sound high even at the low end. I found this website and called Tackil and talked with Tim who is the owner. He was able to come out quickly, diagnosed the problem. The unit was over 13 years of age and Tim was able to give me a fair price to replace the outside and inside units. The price was way below others for a great system. We made arrangements for Tim and his company to come out and do the job. Everything was accomplished in a a professional manner and Tim was very easy to work with. I had done my homework and instead of going with a Nest thermostat, I went with a lesser priced one which works for our needs. Tim included the Honeywell in with the price of the work. We discussed a whole house humidifier which Tim was able to install at the same time and save me money. He also provided a re-usable filter. All in all, Tim and company were a pleasure to work with. The price was certainly right and a very good system to boot.

Same day came by to check out the issue even though it was 7pm. Worked with me and my warranty company to address and service the issue. Very nice, honest and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for AC service and repair.

This is the 2nd time I hired Tim. The first time was for a furnace repair. He was very prompt and professional that time. The second time was not for any repair, but just for service/maintenance of the unit. I asked him to coordinate the service with the tenant. After 2 weeks, the tenant, who is always very responsive, told me that he never received a call from Tim. I had to initiate a conference call between the 2 of them to arrange for Tim to perform the service. I understand that he needs to prioritize calls for repairs over maintenance calls, but I wish I had known his backup in scheduling
