I previously gave Tadlock a poor rating but once we got things squared away they did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again.

It went well. The crew worked very hard and worked long hours. They did a great job with our roof and cleaned up exceptionally.

We used Tadlock roofing to replace the roof on our rental house in Panama City. Also for a roof secondary water barrier and 2x solar powered attic vents.Since I live out of state and was not able to be present for the estimate, Tadlock sent me a link to a very helpful video clip of my roof pointing out the problems they found and showing me the options for replacement. In all we looked at six different companies and Tadlock not only had the best prices for our composite shingle roof job, but they also had the best durability and warranty and options available. We were able to get a 40-year shingle with 15 year warranty on labor for less than most places were offering for a 30-year shingle and only one year of warranty. Tadlock did a fast and professional job with a thorough cleanup afterwards. Now my house is staying dry and the cooling costs have gone down with the increased efficiency shingles and roof vents. Also, we are getting an insurance discount for a new roof, for wind mitigation, and for secondary water barrier protection. We would use Tadlock again in a heartbeat and wish we would have found them first.

This is the 4th time I've use Tadlock, It took a while to get the job done but they did an excellent job.

Not a great experience overall. I wouldn't use them again. In short, the roof is good, and the guys who put it up were hardworking, on-time, and cleaned up well after themselves. So the product is fine, but dealing with the main office, or getting answers to questions is a joke. Plus they do not deliver what they agree to, and they outright ignore any questions you have. Complaint 1. Being told you would get a call back that day, don't hear back for 2/3 days. Happened several times. Not the biggest complaint, but poor basic customer service. It just sends a message that you're not important enough to follow back up with. Complaint 2. Initially I was quoted a 3 week out start date, when the salesman came to my home and I asked if we go with you guys, how fast is the turnaround time. End up being 10 weeks out. As long as they have been in business, they should be better at estimating start dates by now, so they are wildly inaccurate and unprofessional at best, or simply lying and deceitful at worst, in order to secure a job, instead of telling a customer it will take 10 weeks to come out. Complaint 3. I was told that bad weather was the cause of these delays. Workers being sick / bad weather can account for a certain amount of understandable wiggle room, but this amount of time is just unreasonable and unacceptable. That's over a 300% margin of error. Complaint 4. I was also told that my gutters would be removed (but not re-mounted) by the roofers so that they could add new flashing to the side of the house too. I was told this and it was agreed before I signed the contract. After signing, that all changed to, now we can't guarantee they won't be damaged if we do that - so you can risk it with our guys doing it, but we won't fix or help you with any damage that takes place. Complaint 5. When you sign their release form, you also have to agree to certain things like you will cover any areas below skylights / inside the attic etc. They also have the option that you can check a box if you'd like to see photo evidence of any wood they need to replace due to water damage. I requested that I'd like to see photos of the wood they needed to replace, months later and a follow up email asking about it, I still haven't heard anything. Complaint 6. I Had to hire a company to remove gutters before job could start. I used the (7 week later than initially advised) start date Tadlock gave me to arrange a date with the gutter guys in order to minimize the mount of time the gutters would be down. Then Tadlock pushed me back an extra week again, after the gutters are already down, a day before they were set to start. I explained to Tadlock why it was important to me to get a precise start date, but this apparently didn't matter much to them. I'm a business owner myself, and if I gave my customers such poor service, I wouldn't last very long. No apologies or explanations. In summary, this is the only time I'll work with this company, and I won't be recommending them to anybody I know, unless I really dislike the person :-) Complaint 7. Follow up: I'm now looking to get a price for Hurricane clips to be added to our roof in the attic. It's been 2 weeks now going back and forth with them about this. First they refused to believe that the house didn't already have them, based on the age, to not hearing from them for 10 days about having a guy come out to take a look and give me an accurate quote. I honestly just give up with them at this point!

The crew was outstanding, on time and work very hard to make sure everything was done correctly.  From the start Tadlock was professional in every aspect from salesman to installation to clean up. The crew make sure that  the area was clean and another crew came in a day later to make sure the roof was correctly installed and that the area was clean properly before they left. We’ve been using them for 3-4 years.  They have good customer service and scheduling is a piece of cake and takes a phone call.  The last job took them around a business week to complete.

They did a great job.  There was no problem scheduling and they came out when they said they would.  They blended it well and you can’t even tell where they did the repair.  The crew was very courteous and professional.  The price was also competitive.  We were very happy.

We had a very bad time with them.  It took us three months to get a building inspection because they did the job without the permit.  They were told to get one and they were even threatened by the city with a fine.  We were unable to get the tax credit from the power company because it was over three months and we lost money on the insurance because we were unable to get the insurance enforced due to the amount of time it took.  The original contract was hand-written.  They provided a typed contract and forged my name on the document.  However, they eventually did a good job on the roof.

Over all, the roofing was good and scheduling service was very easy.  We went to their showroom and they discussed everything with us.  The only problem I had is that they were supposed to put the gutters back up, and I had to keep calling them to do the work.  They finally did it months later.   I had just done some landscaping and there was a hard rain, so I wasn’t happy to see the landscaping ruined.  However, they did a good job and we haven’t had any leaks. The cost was also reasonable.

First installation was fine except, and this is a big except, they installed glass that did not meet specification of contract. I had specifically written in contract that glass would meet Miami - Dade County standards. The glass installed clearly was marked to meet lesser standards. At first they were not willing to admit their error. After much conversation and exchange of documentation they admitted error but we're not willing to correct error. After I sent correspondence to the President of the company the matter was finally settled. After all was settled they had to return to redo their final installation because it did not pass inspection by the county building inspector. I would not recommend them. <br />

After they removed the vent for the master bathroom, air vent outside for the master bathroom, they laid down the white mat.It rained on 9/13/14 and I still got water coming down the air vent,as this was part of the problem I was having in  first place. I looked on the top of the roof,and lord have mercy,they had covered the hole for the vent with this white plastic. They were also to have ''V'' shape metal  installed on the corners of the house,to stop water rot. I also believe they overcharged  me for the work that was not done.I had talked to the Mr.Tadlock before work was done,and he said that it would not be a problem to install V shape water guides. So my question is: are you thinking that I am easy money. Well I in my option and my family NO. In my option if you do a job,do it right the first time. It also seems to me that us little guys do not matter to this company. It took them for ever to comnnect with me and they failed to communicate any messages I had left for them. Well they findly finished the job. They had some trouble with the past crew,and from what I understand that was the reason they were so late. <br />
