Top notch!!! I found Dan at Take Us for Granite to be an outstanding contractor right from the start. He was the first to call me but never pushy. He came to our home to evaluate our needs and give us some idea of the square footage of the job. He gave us very valuable information about granite vs quartz and an estimate of cost but never any pressure. He was so professional and yet very friendly that he made us comfortable. We went to his store and looked at the granite in his yard – he told us if we weren’t sure we could go to Lakewood and view more. We did that and what we liked in Lakewood he had in his yard and was able to give us a good price. He had such patience when I had a hard time deciding and he helped me with the decision – he was right! Best choice I could have made and so happy! The job was done professionally and went beyond my expectations! The granite is stunning in my kitchen – made a difference to the entire house! He and his men were amazing like artists and not one seam! Perfectly matched with the back splash – such attention to detail. Dan is the consummate professional and just a nice guy who made my husband and I feel like we knew him for years. He and his men were very respectful of our home and made every effort to clean up during and after the job. Can’t say enough without writing volumes!! Dan is the best! Where do I start, when I first met Dan I never met anyone so nice and that listened to what I wanted. He sat down with me to explain step by step and helped me through making decisions on the right granite for my closet island and bathrooms. You feel like you are part of the family based on how they treat you. They are very clean, wore booty's and did the most beautiful job and met a longtime friend as well. He went out of his way to show me granite samples in a snow storm, because he knew getting the closet island finished was important to me. Can’t say enough about the company, Dan and his crew. Thank you for such a great experience !!!!!!!!!! Will be using them for all our granite needs in the future.

Dan was great to work with - highly responsive. Install was quick and work was clean. Price was so reasonable I was able to go with a higher quality stone (quartz) than I had anticipated.

Great job! I had an old drop in stove removed and replaced with a slide in. The counter and floor tiles needed to be cut so the stove could fit. This along with some other install problems we weren't expecting, they fixed all of them, looks beautiful.

Dan Clappsy owns the company. He is a "class act" in terms of his warmth, excellence with the quality of his work, and his customer service. He "aims" to please and doesn't know the word "no". I cannot say enough about Dan and his company Take Us For Granite. From the very beginning he was responsive, reasonable and above board with his customer service and accommodations. I joke about the reason that I chose this company was initially for the catchy name. I'm a suck for "it's in the title" kind of stuff. But he far surpassed my expectations and believe me, my expectations were great! He was honest, humble, professional, courteous and in general....a complete pleasure to work with. He arrived on time EVERY TIME to either my home or the yard where I hemmed and hawed about which slab to choose. I'm a tough decision maker and he made it as painless as possible. Always offering his professional and personal opinion. Dan was very personable. He was great to work with and always kept me abreast when my he was ready to install. He gave me great advise on the color and recommended a tile company for backsplash. I am very, very happy with the results.

5 stars are not enough to rate Dan! Dan treated my kitchen (and my budget) like his own. From our initial phone conversation to the job completion, Dan's customer service was just great. My original countertop was not installed in a traditional manner and was quite difficult to remove. Dan worked tirelessly to get the job done to perfection! The new Granite countertop is just beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Take Us For Granite!

Couldn't be happier with the service!!!! When we moved into our new home we realized that one section of granite countertop had several cracks. Dan got back to us quickly and offered us several options, from repair to replace. Pricing was fair and reasonable. He was honest and never pushy, took his time with us and explained everything in detail. We opted to replace and SO GLAD we did. First off, he matched the granite so perfectly to the sections that weren't replaced, that you can't tell they aren't from the same slab! When he removed the damaged counter, we could see all the gaps that the original installer left, which likely contributed to all the cracks because large sections had nothing supporting it underneath. Also, there was TONS of black mold growing around the edges of the sink! Thankfully we also opted to have him replace the sink (which I now LOVE). Dan and his crew leveled, shimmed and sealed the new counter and sink in meticulously! He polished and sealed the old remaining sections so that now when people come visit they think we replaced all the counters and have all said how beautiful it looks. Another huge plus is that they worked really clean. I was anticipating a mess but they did their best to keep it keep everything clean, even when they had to trim some backsplash tiles to get the counter in more level and securely. My mother needs new counters and when she's ready we will be calling Dan at Take Us for Granite! Excellent service!!!!!!

Came the same day I spoke to them. They made an effort to come late that evening as they knew I wanted my granite counter fixed as soon as possible. I was very happy with the work performed.

It was great working with Dan. I called for repairs to my granite counter top (chips) and tho it was not a big job Dan responded promptly and was thoroughly knowledgeable about what had to be done. He matched the colors perfectly and the restored the counter top to its original finish. I would highly recommend Dan for any repairs needed for granite. I will call Dan in the future for any maintenance or repairs needed for my counter tops.
