I worked with Dave Berenton and everyone I spoke to was responsive and helpful. We were very pleased with the work that was done to correct the chimney structural problem and driveway/ sidewalk cracks. We began with a mold problem and Tar Heel helped to determine where the problem was and fixed it. I highly recommend their work.

They answered all of my questions and had easy to understand explanations. They did an outstanding job cleaning up after they were done. Our 90 year old basement never looked as good.

The team assigned to us, Anthony Mounts Field Inspector, Rob Hacker site supervisor, Dale Howell, and Gerry Hairston, worked really well together. These guys were very profeesional and respectful in dealing with us. These guys work very hard and stuck to the job til done. Team work I saw was great. All these guys are nice gentleman and take pride in their work. My basement had moisture issues that needed addressing, and they worked hard to help us get this under control. Thank you .

Great to work with. Tim the sales guy explained things to me in detail and was patient while I made up my mind. Once the crew, Ian, Shawn and Robert W. got there, things continued to go really well. From phone calls to tell me what time they would be there, answering all my questions and taking the time to show me the work and explain what it all does, they were extremely courteous and professional. The work site was kept extremely neat and clean. I definitely recommend this company.

I had moisture issues in my crawlspace since I purchased my home 8 years ago. Not addressing this problem earlier contributed to moisture problems in the living area and some deflection/settlement issues (cracks) as well. That's when I called Tarheel Basement Systems. My experience was excellent from the initial visit with Marvin, who examined my home and helped me design a plan that fit my needs and my budget, to the crew, Kenny, Raul, and Juan, who installed my system. They arrived on time, they finished the job on time, great communication - I'm happy with my new waterproofed crawl space.

Came on time. Finished on time. My garage was built in 1930 into a hill side. Water problems were evident when I purchased the house. I could not store anything in the garage, I call Tar Heel Basement and they waterproofed garage, installed special membrane to walls and installed sump pump. My garage is moisture / water free, wall are nice and bright and I am able to park my car in the garage. Very pleased with the results and the cost was reasonable

Expensive, but provided the best plan to control water. Knowledgeable salesman. Thorough evaluation. Work completed as stated in contract. Crew very professional. Kept us informed and provided updates and pictures of completed work.

We found mold behind our finished basement walls and evidence of water intrusion. We had the wall product removed and then talked to several companies about solutions. Tarheel’s analyst was extremely thorough, spending maybe 1-2 hours of evaluation time. He generated a quote at the time of visit. Their quote was competitive in price and similar in scope to other bids. I do not perceive any sales pressure while recognizing that they do stay in business by performing work. The crew arrived on the anticipated date and worked over two days to break up the perimeter concrete, install the wall and drain system, and replace perimeter concrete. They also restructured our sump pit and drainage. The crew was good to work with and they had a clear crew chief that communicated well. Really everything went as we hoped. I had some follow up questions in the following weeks, and the office connected me with the same crew chief. He answered my questions. Since this work we had them come back and install a battery backup sump system.

The work was sloppy. Luckily my husband was home and actually redid the blocking himself with the workers there. Multiple beams had to be adjusted because they werent straight and if no one had been home they wouldve left them that way. None of this shouldve been an issue for that price.
