Taylor & Sons

The boards were not laid correctly and now a couple years later I have "cupping". The person that is fixing Taylor and Sons mistake said that your suppose to follow a grain when you lay the boards down for decking. The grain pattern on the ends of the boards direct you which way to lay the board. It's 101 carpentry and Michael Taylor and Sons did not know this. It's costing me a lot of money to repair their error. What a mess.

This father and son business is terrific. They were courteous and prompt. The estimate was for a 2-week job that involved many things - power washing house and deck, replacing rotting trim boards, building a concrete step into the basement, painting, etc. The quality of their work is spectacular. Everything was completed on time, and to our satisfaction.

Michael called me promptly came out to see the project, gutter cleaning and replacing an overhead light fixture. The price quoted was accepted but when I went back to previous tears his price was rather high. Gutter cleaning was completed and fixture replaced They were neat and pleasant. My reason for the lower rating, he was suppose to call me back to schedule time for a bathroom fan replacement and painting, he never has and it is now a couple of months later. Not very good customer service.

Michael Taylor arrived promptly to give me an estimate and was able to perform the work the same day. In the course of cleaning the gutters, he made some minor repairs to the gutters which was much appreciated.
