I hired Miguel at Team Edit Landscaping to pour a stamped concrete patio. Miguel and his team did thousands of dollars of damage to my property through their negligence, and he refuses to pay for it. Prior to that, Miguel (unsuccessfully) tried to scam me for $2000. They chipped the siding of both the house and my shed. They got concrete splatter all over the sides of the house. The house was professionally painted in Summer 2021, and now must be fully repainted as the concrete will not come off. We may need to even replace multiple pieces of the siding as the concrete may never come off. They also left concrete bags just sitting in the yard. It rained the next day, and the concrete hardened into the yard. He also left a giant mound of dirt in the yard. We had to pay these professionally removed, as Miguel never brought his team out here to fix it. They also left a 2x4 stuck to the patio, which we now will need to have professionally removed. I told Miguel many times that his team needed to come out and clean up the house before the concrete stained everything. He repeatedly ignored me and blew me off. By the time his crew came out, they told me there was nothing they could do to clean it off. I have given Miguel months to make this right. Miguel only offer to remedy to the situation was to get his paint crew to come paint the house. Miguels company does not normally do paint you can look at their website. We paid for a professional, insured, and warrantied paint job in Summer 2021 and we expect the house paint to be fixed to the same level. Miguels cut rate crew that is not insured, nor do they give a 5 year warranty, is not an acceptable fix for the damage they did. He has ceased communication with me, and I am going to be pursuing him in court. Last I talked to him, he said I could speak to his lawyer, but now will not provide me with his attorneys information. I have extensive documentation of these issues, including pictures, texts, and recorded conversations. Miguel ignoring me is not going to make this go away. Fix it. You are going to end up paying for it after court anyways.

January 2022. They trimmed 8 large trees for me and di a very good professional and safe job. I was pleased with their work and the price was fair as well. I would recommend them to others as well.

In the end, was good. Beginning they tried to use unskilled people. Messed up twice. They finally got professional people. The job turned out great.

Miguel and his crew showed up on time and started immediately. I had 15 Arborvitae trees and 15 Holly bushes planted all in one day. They worked in the extreme heat in the middle of the day and completed the entire job in one afternoon. Miguel was on the job site and supervised the crew the entire time. They cleaned up and my new yard looks amazing. I highly recommend the company.

My advice is to stay as far away from these guys as possible. We wanted a retaining wall and privacy fence built. After explaining that I wanted the hill behind my house completely re-graded and a wall put in place to give me more flat property, we were assured that what we wanted was no problem. After a couple of weeks, a bunch of guys came out and started digging out the hill and putting up a wall. After the first part of the wall was built, I mentioned that they had not properly graded the hill behind the wall like I had requested. In response, they brought a bobcat behind the wall to start grading, but slid down the hill and smashed into the new wall with it, which caused them to need to dig it out to rebuild the wall (and send pebbles everywhere in the back of my yard). After that, I asked them to grade it again, which they responded to by taking the giant pile of sand that they had dug out and not taken away around my side yard. I did not want my side yard touched for this project, and I have no idea why they did this. When I complained about it, they seemed confused and said I had told them to do this, and started complaining about all of the extra out of contract work I was asking for (?!). After this, they refused to grade any more of the actual hill, because it could damage the wall again, which would not have been a problem if they had graded it first like I had asked. Finally, when I asked them to remove the pile of sand from my yard, they started pushing it around my side yard again instead of loading it on a truck. It completely destroyed any grass I had remaining there. I told the guy driving NOT to do this, and he did it anyway after I went back inside. When I asked him to go pull all of the sand back up out of my yard as it was now a lumpy mess with a ring around it, he said he refused to do any more work on my property and I would have to get in touch with his boss, then proceeded to curse me out. The wall was now in a completely unfinished state, and massive divots have been forming in the sand due to the lack of proper grading, which will likely cause me to need a completely new wall built. It is not retaining anything. I also found out that, since they installed the drain pipe underneath without a sleeve, sand has completely clogged the drain pipe and now there is effectively no drainage underneath of the wall. While all of this was going on, a separate team came to put up a vinyl fence. They started digging holes in my FRONT yard, even though the fence was going into the back. They removed a property stake I had set up, so that we lost the corner of the yard and I need to have a new survey done. After I saw them dig more holes roughly in the correct location, they dropped vinyl posts into the holes with no concrete, and started simply filling the holes with sand. When I mentioned they needed to concrete the posts in, they claimed they would do it after installation (?!). These guys obviously had no idea what they were doing. They proceeded to start putting up the fence panels, and the fence panels were cracking just from installation. It was the cheapest material I had ever seen. At this point, I told them to stop working, but they ignored me, and I had to yell at them repeatedly to get off of my property before they finally stopped and complained to their boss. Long story short, I fired them from the fence job. I had to threaten to sue to get my money back for the fence part, even though I had never even signed a contract for the fence, only the wall. They never finished the wall job, and my entire back and side yard is a giant beach with a mound in it that can be seen from aerial photos. I now have a non-functional retaining wall, giant beach, and no fence, having paid $20,000. Stay away from these guys.

Very happy with quality of work. I would highly recommend Miguel and his team. They are very responsible, cleaned up the area very good. The work looks good.

Communication could be better. Did not receive confirmation prior to the day of doing the job. Had to call to make sure job was going to be done on the scheduled date

Tree service was great but the inside of my house was not professional. Hard to make contact. The number is a non professional. Hard to make contact.

The tree removal was good, except that things were broken in the process. Clean up was not done until I called, and waited a week for them to come out. While they were at my home they said they would redo my porch due to a tree damaging it, but did not have trained people who could do the work. No attention to detail. At this time I have the following concerns and incomplete project: Soffit work needs to be taken down and done correctly, treated wood was not used on exterior/weather exposed porch railings, gutters not replaced, shingles put on porch extension do not match the shingles that are right next to newly added portion of porch. I am hoping for some resolution from the company as I have a porch extension that looks horribly incomplete and not done professionally. The young people hired to do my work are not skilled in tasks they have been assigned.

My husband and I hired Miguel and Team Edit in March 2019 to pour a concrete slab for additional parking and extra concrete around our newly completed pool. My husband contacted him on a Friday and he and his team came out the next day. He asked for 50% of the project cost to start so that he could get the concrete; unusual to pay before a project even begins but okay, he is able to start soon so we will go ahead and give him $4,000. This quick decision has cost us a lot of money and time. The first issue was there was never a written estimate; we were only verbally told how much it would be. The second, and biggest, the issue is that that the concrete is slanted TOWARDS the pool. Therefore, when it rains, the water runs and pools in the valley where this concrete adjoins previously correctly poured concrete. Because it is slanting the wrong way, every time it rains the dirt washes from underneath the concrete up between the joints, onto the concrete, and INTO our pool. MUD on the concrete and in the pool! And to add insult to injury, both slabs of concrete are already CRACKING!! We paid them over 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS for incorrectly-poured, sub-quality concrete! After many phone calls and my husband confronting him in Lowe with no resolution and being told you so much trouble, our only solution was to have the concrete dug up and re-poured by a reputable professional. And this is costing us ANOTHER 4 THOUSAND dollars to fix the crappy job they did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING THIS COMPANY FOR CONCRETE WORK!

I will go to the police and the immigration office and have this company investigated. They did not show up when they said they would, but wrote a sexual email to my wife. I fired them and I will go to the police dept and the immigration office to have them...

09/2019 arrived quickly to provide estimates. They removed trees, ground stumps, and did yard landscaping. Cut down pecan tree they would be asked not to cut down. Was informed he would attempt to find a replacement and could not so they took some money off the bill. They would give time to arrive but arrived 30 minutes to an hour late (traffic, equipment issues,). Seldom called to inform of the delay. I was initially satisfied with the services provided so I recommended them to a neighbor for tree removal. 09/2020 they cut down trees in the neighbor yard but also came onto my property to cut limbs/branches overhanging my property while it rained all day. I did not receive a request nor give my authorization for them to come onto my property before they started working to cut neighbor trees. I was not contacted by them during the time they were working or after they finished. I had to periodically go outside to check to see what was being done. Tree limb/branch fell onto my fence causing damage. Spoke with Luis (son) who stated limb almost fell on the crew and they were not responsible for fence damage. Spoke with Miguel (owner) who stated he would come on the following Monday or Tuesday. Never showed. No call. I called and spoke with Miguel. He stated he would come Sunday 10/04/2020 around 10 am. Never showed. No call. He still has not come to repair my damaged fence. Left deep ruts in neighbor yard from their equipment that still have not been repaired.

Very impressed with the quality of work. Miguel and his team did a great job. I would highly recommend them. Very responsible too.

One of the worst experiences ever. Miguel presented a plan with cost, took 50% down. Once I verified the charges they were so far out of line, I discussed with him and that began a series of nontruths and manipulate efforts to charge outrageous fees. They did not have appropriate amount of workers with skill and made many mistakes. It was not completed as agreed and they were a no show on the third day when they had told me they would complete the work. It cost me so much time and $$$. I paid them appropriate to the work that was done although poor performance and both incomplete. Do your self a favor and look further.

The best work you could have done, with a price no other company can match! Miguel and his family run business did a great job on my home project. Not only was he the first guy to call me once I put the request on Home Advisor, but he was at my house quoting the job within hours. His prices are very reasonable and his team works hard as can be. Team Edit is a very diverse company --- they do all kinds of landscaping services and he also helped me build a concrete patio and wooden deck steps. GREAT COMPANY - HIRE, HIRE, HIRE!
