He came by our location the very next day upon contact (Friday, checked the attic, crawlspace) and was able to submit/give me plans within 2 days (Sunday) ready for a review with the city(Tuesday). Hired Roland to inspect residence for structural integrity. On-time with appointment. Fast response with very competitive rate in comparison to other engineers I had quote the project.

I was a bit lost...in the middle of a remodel and told I need to do a 'seismic retrofit'. Spoke with many engineers, and I got further lost and scared at the price tags. What I finaly realized was that many of the other engineers were over engineering what really needed to be done. Roland was superb!!! He is very practical in his approach to issues, and is great at problem solving (one contractor told me I'd have to take out the whole furnace to complete the retrofit - Roland figured out a different way to get the same thing accomplished). We also used him for removing a support post - same experience...Roland is very practical, looks for the best way to accomplish something with minimal disruption and offers a fair price.
