Ted Cook Heating Service

These guys were life savers. AC went out on a Sunday afternoon and a technician still made it out to our home to complete a diagnostic. Turned out our furnace needed replacing, our tech Greg took the motor to their shop, and it was ready to go next day! Communication was great. We knew when someone was coming out and what all needed to be done ahead of time.

Excellent service! Ted Cook installed 2 units in our home and completed the job within half a day as promised.

It took 3 trips to find what was causing the leak, but Mr. Cook didnâ t give up. Really appreciate everything he did. Recommend him for AC work.

Ted is one of the most knowledgeable HVAC pros I have met. Ted took on a unique installation I presented him with, that other "pros" declined. His pricing is very competitive. If you want it done right, call Ted. I would hire him again in a heart beat. I had 3 heat pump systems installed by Ted and his crew several months ago and I couldn't be happier.

After the initial linkup through HomeAdvisor, Ted called me within 2 minutes. He was courteous and gave me a price over the phone. When I called him back in two days to schedule the work, his price went up 500, but when I reminded him of his verbal quote, he agreed to do it for the original quote. I thought this was pretty stand up. He dropped by later that day to scout out the job and then called to let me know he could do the job the next day. His crew arrived promptly, were professional and courteous and finished the job within the time promised. He followed up with a phone call and I paid as agreed via PayPal. Right now my new unit is blowing cold air. I'll be calling Ted for my HVAC needs in the future.

We had our A.C. go out...BOOM! I called several companies who couldn't come until the next day...and here in SC that's too long in the summer months! Ted Cook understood my frustration and said he'd try his hardest to get someone to me same day. We were grateful...because he did, indeed. It was a simple fix of a capacitor...and WHOOSH...cool air returned. The work, timeliness, compassion for heat exhaustion and fair price has earned Ted Cook and his techs a spot in my phone rolodex! I'd certainly use them again!

Came out and replaced the A/C, furnace, and thermostat in less than a week's notice. Had it done in one day.

Everything looked great in the end. Was quick and efficient.

I had to call him back for another problem and it was a simple fix (but I didn't know that) he didn't even charge me for the drive out to my house. Then the next morning he called me to follow up with the simple fix and see if my heater was working to my satisfaction. I give him 5 out of 5 stars, hands down!

I highly recommend Ted Cook's Heating Service. Very pleasant and knowledgeable worker, found the problem and ordered a replacement part, which was going to take two days to arrive. In the meantime, he wired my unit to work temporarily so I would have heat. New part was installed once it arrived, and unit is working perfectly again. NOTE: I had same problem upon moving into the house three years ago and used a different company, and they charged more than TWICE what Ted Cooks Heating charged me this time. I plan to use Mr. Cook's service for all my HVAC needs!
