Heat Pump Installation and Replacement
Jerry was prompt and complete during our initial meeting, explained everything, and answered all my questions without talking my ear off as a few others did when I was seeking bids. The work crew was on-time and efficient, and despite the ridiculous heat of the day, they worked through it all to complete everything in a day. I particularly appreciate the effort Jerry made to squeeze my job in during what was a crazy a/c repair period, and the time his workmen took to walk me through the use of the system after it was installed. The worker even gave me some helpful tips to maintain the system and get the most from it.

My initial call was returned in 45 minutes. The receptionist was very courteous and took all my information. She promised a call back within 15 minutes with an appointment and a technician for the repair. 30 minutes later we were finally able to schedule. The technician, Matt, arrived within 15 minutes of the appointment time. He also was extremely courteous. He explained what he was doing and finding. He made the repairs on the central air unit within 45 minutes. The bill was exactly the number I was quoted on my initial call. Overall, I was very pleased and definitely would use the service again.

I had a great experience with Temp Rite. The blower on my furnace stopped as it was getting colder out. Tom came out very quickly and found that my furnace was 20+ years old and had significant damage. There was no pressure whatsoever to hire them to replace it. He got the blower working temporarily, but it stopped again a few days later just as the weather hit freezing. Although they clearly have a busy schedule, Tom came out the next day to replace it. Everyone I had any interaction with was friendly, sincere, and informative. I will be very happy to recommend Temp Rite to everyone I know.

Timely, conscientious, professional, polite, cost effective. These guys were great! We hired them to do a complete new HVAC system then decided to finish our basement which made their work more difficult. They worked well with the other contractors, stuck to their original estimate and they communicated with me every step of the way.

My heat stopped working over the weekend, and a service tech came very shortly after I called (on a Saturday evening), and was friendly and helpful. It turned out I needed a new furnace, and I felt that Temp-Rite gave me a fair price, and installation happened that Monday. My new furnace works beautifully, and I am very pleased with my experience with Temp-Rite. Everyone there seemed to genuinely care about the job they have done and was very polite and professional.

I was most impressed with the fact that the owner of the company, Mr. Jerry Schiavo telephoned me the afternoon of which his A/C technician made the troubleshooting call and repair to my A/C system to inquire if I was satisfied. We had a delightful and informative conversation. I advised Mr. Schiavo that I was totally impressed so far and that the only remaining factor would be how if needed his company responded to any problems or complaints that I may bring to his attention. The only minor inconvenience I experienced was some delay in arranging the service call appointment, which was caused by a problem that Mr. Schiavo had with his e-mail system and the weather (rain) that had put him behind schedule.

Jerry did an excellent job on my boiler. He did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. Actually, he did a couple of things that weren't on the order and didn't charge me for them. We also ran into an unexpected problem (not unusual when working on an old house) which required additional time and materials and he didn't charge me for that either. I would definitely have him work for me again.
