Great experience working with Rich. He came out the same day, in place of another inspector who was charging more for a reinspect than Ten Point was for an initial inspection. He found some major items the original inspector missed, and even went the extra mile to help find someone to make the repairs before closing. Rich from 10 point came over, really pleasant and personable fellow. I got the impression he knew what he was doing. Pointed out a few things I needed to attend too and said he would come back and inspect the fix s free of charge. I attended to the fix s in two days, photo s taken for the report and a clean bill of health. Very satisfied. Could not have been more to my liking for smooth business.

Richard was very patient and easy to speck with during our first phone call. He was aware of what his job entails and what he could do and not do. He took pictures of areas of concern. The electrical issue was of great concern and well documented. Needless to say the purchase was not fulfilled.

Rich did an excellent job of inspecting a property that I was considering purchasing. I received the home inspection on the same day as the inspection was completed, which was excellent due to the time is of the essence nature of real estate contracts. The report was over thorough. Not only were the actual reports of every major component of the property complete with exceptional attention to detail, but the reports also contained educational details about the particular component, in case one didn't quite understand the thoroughness of the report, it get technical aspects (actually, it was over kill). Rich took his time inspecting the property. He provided pictures and explanations. As a result of his report I decided not to move forward with the purchase (to many deficiencies. I will be hiring him for my next home inspection.

Very Professional, And very helpful

I will start with the good first. Received report same day. Report included detailed photos including all appliances which makes a great reference guide down the line for serial number, etc. Once we moved in it was a different story. I noticed in our office the floors are swollen and buckled from what looks like water damage. I contacted Rich (Ten Point Inspections) about this and was told that it could have happened after the inspection. I knew this was not true, and I contacted the selling agent in order to get some additional photos showing that there was damage before the inspection. When I showed this to Rich for proof and I was told that this happens to "cheap floors" I was then told that he thought I was just trying to cheat him out of money. I currently have replacement boards left by the seller, I just need them installed and Ten Point Inspections would not step up for their mistake overlooking this damage. I was also told that the report says typical flaws and cosmetic damage. This goes beyond cosmetic damage as the boards are swollen and do not properly lock together. If this was pointed out in the inspection I could have had the seller fix the issue before closing. I would NOT recommend Ten Point Inspections to any friends or family due to the fact they do not stand behind their inspections and how poorly this situation was handled.

We were very impressed by quick and thorough report. Our inspector was professional any gave us a very detailed walk through explaining everything he found. We're definitely referring Ten Point Inspections to our friends.

He is my go to home inspector. His reports are thorough and very detailed. He includes lots of photos in his reports for the customer.
