Terminix

Iâ ve been using Terminix since 2015, but as you can see from multiple recent reviews there is a problem with management and custom service now. I donâ t know if itâ s just the manager of this area in Bothell WA, as I was told the local manager was left several messages and emails on our behalf, and he has yet to reach out since we requested that the technician come back to complete the job back in August. I made multiple attempts to resolve this as I understand that mistakes happen and wanted to give them a chance to make it right. Anyone who works in customer service understands that a call plus having someone come back out would have resolved this. Now I have asked to be refunded the charges for service not completely performed, but I was told the manager keeps denying my request ( if this is a franchise maybe he needs the money). Not sure why he wonâ t simply call us as maybe there is a justification why they think we should pay. Anywayâ ¦ I would not encourage anyone to use their services until they figure out how to take care of their customers

Terminix offered the least expensive option w/ a guarantee to be rid of rodents for a year.

They came out and put down the poison for the ants. They said they would check back in a week. They never did. Service Magic gave them a request to respond and to check in. They have not done so. The ants came back worse than before Terminix came with in 5 days. The first 2-3 days were fine but after the 5th day they got worse and continued getting worse. We went back to the method we used before Terminix (disinfectant wipes and sprays) the problem started to resolve to the way it was when Terminix first arrived. We still have ants.

Tech was very informative and guided me to help eradicate problem.

On time, did a great job! Very professional. Overall, the entire install took longer than they had estimated, and they encountered some issues, but worked through all of them at the quoted rate.

Reasonably priced and our local office has been quick to respond to issues. I would advise doing all of your correspondence with your local office as I called their main 800 number with an issue and it was never followed up on. After calling our local office, the issue was dealt with quickly. Each local office may be different, so your mileage may vary. Mine has been pretty good so far which is servicing my home in Bothell, WA.

Quick to repsond to email request (with in 5 min). VERY informative, not pushy! Loved the techs! EXTREMELY professional, friendly, informative, told me EVERYTHING they were doing. Very quick, only took 20 min to exterminate house. Hope to get the same techs in 3 months!!

Not sure yet because Joel came 2 days ago. I haven't seen any ants since then so I guess that's good. I wasn't told the process included me leaving my house for 2 hours with the Terminix guy there. I wasn't happy about that part. I had called Terminix and talked to someone at the National calling center before using the sevicemagic service.

Terminex was great. We were given good instructions for preparing over the phone, and Tony was very friendly when he came to service our house. We would definitely use Terminex again.

Prompt, professional and provides good follow up service. One suggestion I would make is to have clearer communication between the call center in Tennessee and the local Terminex offices. It seemed as though there was some disconnect between those two entities in regards to scheduling appointments with technicians. They had to re-schedule on of my appts, 2 hours after I confirmed it with the Tennessee call center ( at that time I did not have the local office number to confirm with them).

I scheduled them to come at 7:30 on Monday and asked them to have the tech call when he was on his way. By 8:15 I had not heard from them so I called them and they said the tech had called in sick. I told them I had to get to work and we scheduled for 7:30 the next day. The tech called me at about 7:45 and said he'd be here at about 8:15. He didn't arrive until about 8:45, citing traffic congestion. The phone reps and the tech were all courteous. The tech was apologetic about the late arrival. The tech reduced the cost for removing the bee hive since the hive had been abandoned and did not need to be removed. Sean Brady is not with the company any more. They need to update their listing.

Terminix was quick to respond and provide a complete inspections of the buggy areas. I agreed to a contract for a full year of inspection and treatment at what seems to be a fair price. I would have like the tech to check out the attic, but he apparently didn't have time and told me to let Termix know if we still suspect bugs in that area, after giving the treatment 2 weeks to do it magic. Its been 1 1/2 weeks some bugs still seen but not in the areas that were noted before, seems to be working. Happy with service and the knowledge that was shared by the tech.

We don't know yet if the service will result in solving our rodent problem.... the traps and bait boxes have only been placed and set for a couple of days. There seems to be a need to assure communication between workers about who is responsible for what phase of the work - who sets the traps? who places the bait boxes? who fills the bait boxes? who checkes the traps?

The national sales person that I spoke to didn't understand the local pest problems (he offered me a termite inspection but we don't have termites out here) and didn't realize they had to do an inspection first. The local office was great though. They worked around my schedule and had the inspection and service done in 3 days. The inspector and the service tech were both very professional and did a very thorough job.
