Terminix

We have a termite protection plan for my home with them and after their recent yearly inspection I reviewed footage from my exterior cameras and their technician only checked 2 of the 33 termite bate stations and spent 10 minutes sitting in his truck out from. They are supposed to check 65% of the stations so that should have required inspection of 17. The technician only checked 2 and these were pictured in his report. This violates the contract I have with this Terminex franchise and shows a total lack of integrity and trustworthiness. I am canceling my service plan with them and I would recommend you pass this company by when ;looking for pest control for your home.

They broke their contract. It has cost me Vacation days and stress. Their customer service is terrible. I cannot reach a supervisor. Do not use them ever.

I didn't hire them in 2009, but when my contract was up with the other company, I hired Terminix.

Just getting started!

Paid $160 and signed a year-long contract (worth $415) for them to come and fix our mouse problem. The expectation was that they would solve the problem, with all necessary tools. However, they showed up, sprayed for insects, and laid bait traps outside. They then proceeded to tell me what I needed to go buy and do to solve the problem on my own. Expectation management was not there, and I felt like this was a LOT of money for just advise. I cancelled the year-long contract with a little difficulty (had to go through 2 people and finally get a manager on the phone), but am out $160 for a problem we ended up solving on our own.

I contacted another company first, but they didn't send me the contract information for several days. In the interim, Terminix contacted me, scheduled a day and time that was convenient for my schedule, and were very prompt and courteous. Though they were a bit more expensive, I felt the timeliness with which they responded to my request was more than worth the extra $20.

They were on time, thorough, and the price was reasonable. I believe I still may be waiting for the report however. Thanks.

I was looking for both termite control and pest control. I solicited estimates from five companies, received estimates from four of them. All were very professional, and I could really have gone with any of them -- but Terminix provided the most detailed information and the most cost-effective quote. I have received the first treatment so far, and the technician appears to have done a very good thorough job.
