Bathtub Installation and Replacement
He is very nice but has trouble doing things in a timely order. I hired him to replace my bathtub with a walk in shower, He said that he would be there on a Wednesday Morning. He got there that afternoon. Promised he would be back on Thursday. I received a text from him after lunch on Thursday that he would not be there at all. On Friday he showed up around 11:30 A.M. Worked till around 5 P.M. Left He did come back on Saturday afternoon. Called me around 7 P.M. and said it was finished And to let dry till Monday. Monday morning I went to take my shower. The hose and shower head leaked, I called him and was told that he would replace the used hose and head that day. Here it is Tuesday and he still hasn't fixed it. I don't understand why he didn't replace the used hose and shower head with a new one to start with. Luckily I had a place to shower. But wasn't like doing it at home.

I was contacted within 30 minutes of posting the job. He came over and looked at the water heater that needed replacing and gave me a very competitive quote. He had to finish another job that morning but by noon, he had the new appliance and he and his son installed it and did a good job. My experience was great!

Here is why I am giving TexGon a 1 star: he called me first, set a time to come look at what I needed. He gave me a quote which seemed fair, then he told me he would call and schedule a follow-up. He called, said he had to order parts, and that he would call when the parts came in. 3-5 days passed by, I heard nothing so I called. He said he dropped the ball and that he would check on the parts. Another 5 days have passed and I have not heard anything back from TexGon despite my numerous calls and messages.

Water Heater Repair or Service
I hired them to fix my water heater and had gotten a schedule for them to come. They never showed up and after multiple phone calls and voice-mail messages with no call back or response of any kind resulted in us having to do the work ourselves after about a week of cold showers. Any other company either did not have an opening for a while or they wanted us to pay more than we were able to afford.

I paid the pro for the job in full. The pro forgot to install the pressure break, which was a small screw-on adapter that fits on the end of the new spigot he installed. The pro said he would return later in the day and install the part, after he finished a job at another location. The pro has never returned to complete the job or attempted to contact me to this day. I gave the pro a 24 hour window to come over and finish the job, and since the part could easily be installed, I went out and purchased the part and installed it myself. This is not about how easy it was to install the additional part. It was the fact that I both trusted and paid the pro in full, and he said he was going to do something, then did not keep his word.

I was very satisfied with this plumber. I needed my ice maker connected and this plumber was very friendly and he didn't hesitate like the other 2 that scheduled me but never showed up and made excuses . He came when he said he would and he cared about what I needed done.

Eddie and his crew did a fantastic job installing a new sewer line for us. It took a lot of effort to locate the point where the old line exited the house, but luckily it did not go through the foundation. After many years and many plumbers, Eddie was the one that finally circumvented the problems we had with the old line (collapsed clay pipe, and *huge* roots from nearby trees!) by laying in a completely new drain line made of modern materials. Finally, wastewater drains effortlessly! Also, the whole crew was not only professional, but also very friendly. And last but not least, the charges for all the work that was done were extremely reasonable...I would guess anywhere from 30% to 50% less than the "big-name" local plumbing outfits would have charged us.
