"You guys are great, it's fun to work with good customers! Thank you for allowing us to do your fence."
"We are terribly sorry to hear that you're unhappy with any service we provided. To clarify: you had contacted us to come inspect your roof due to possible damage caused by hail. Upon arrival, and after inspection, your project manager pointed out water damage on the interior of your home. Your project manager took pictures of this as well as addressed it with you. You advised her that the water damage had been there for a while it was caused by a leak that you had already had repaired. After your roof replacement was complete, (6 months after) you contacted our office about a leak. We dispatch a crew to your house immediately to investigate. They determined that the leak was not in fact from your roof but from the mortar around your chimney. There was a sizable crack. We advised you of this issue and suggested you reach out to a company who specializes in these types of repairs. Some time later, we received an email from you about this leak, and were advised by you that you have contacted another roofing company to inspect your roof, (who was out door knocking). This company gave you a laundry list of things that they claim required their attention and your money. Once you contacted us with this information, we dispatched yet another (completely different) crew to come out to your home and re-inspect your roof. Focusing on what this other roofing company claims to have been wrong. None of which was true or correct. We again advised you and showed you the cracks in which we were referring, and encouraged you to contact somebody who was able to fix this issue before it got any worse. The owner personally reached out to you for the contact information of the company you claimed you hired to fix this exact leak before you hired us. We tried to get their information and offered to coordinate with them directly, trying to set up a meeting, so they could point out exactly what it was that they did for you to resolve this issue previous to your roof replacement. You refused to give us this information, claiming that you just could not remember who they were or the name of the company. We are still very willing to work with you in resolving this issue. If you could please take the same amount of effort you put into writing these lengthy comments, and put it into researching who it was you hired that fixed your original leak, we would love to talk to them and possibly have them shed light on this old leak."
