The first time we used hill country trees they were great. They removed 3 trees that were blocking our solar panels. The guys did get a little careless and knocked a board off the side of my house however the owner Jeff personally came and fixed it so all was good we were extremely satisfied. So when we needed the trees over our roof/carport trimmed it was a no brainer. We called Jeff again. This time it was different. We scheduled for them to come out and the day of I took half the day off work so I could let the guys in for them to do the job and be here just in case. The scheduled time for them to show up came and went with no contact from anyone from the company 30 minutes after they were supposed to be here I called and spoke to Jeffs wife who said she had no clue when they would arrive but she would have Jeff contact me right away with an update. 30 minutes later I received a phone call from Jeff who informed me the chipper had broken down and they wouldnt be coming to do our job after all and he didnt know if or when they would be able to come and trim our trees. I asked him why I hadnt received a phone call informing me of the issue with the chipper to which he responded that sometimes things dont happen according to plan and what did I expect him to do. I responded that I expected if his company was unable to show up on time for our appointment that I should have been notified as soon he knew they werent going to be able to make it. He then informed me they would not be rescheduling to come do the job. We will NEVER refer another person to them and urge others to find a more responsible company

Arrived at the time discussed and completed the work with no problems. Staff were courteous throughout the process.

Texas Hill Country Tree Service did a quick, efficient job. They know how to cut trees, painted the cuts, and cleaned up so thoroughly you would hardly know trees had been cut. I highly recommend their service.

They did a thorough and professional job for a fair price.

Everything was done by phone, when I got home it was completed to my satisfaction.

Thanks to Jeff and co for coming to my rescue. I had a tree come down in a storm that blocked my driveway so I was STUCK! Jeff had someone over to help me out within an hour or so, gave me a great price and the tree was gone super fast.

Jeff was very accommodating, we had a semi-emergency after a wind/rain storm, and he was able to get a crew out to our house within hours. We just happened to be located where he already had a crew working, so lucky for us. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. His crew worked quickly and practically left no trace behind. Definitely consider him for your next job, we will.
