I’ve always kept up with my AC maintenance twice a year, so when something goes wrong, I know exactly what I’m dealing with. Before I found Michael, I called around for an estimate because I already knew the HERM wire had blown and the capacitor needed to be replaced. Every company I contacted refused to give me a straight answer and insisted on doing their own diagnostic first. It felt like a complete runaround. The moment I spoke with Michael, his communication was clear, direct, and confident — and I knew immediately he was different. He came out to replace the HERM wire and capacitor, and as soon as he opened the panel he spotted the severely pitted contactor. I wasn’t expecting an additional charge and wasn’t prepared for it, but he didn’t just tell me — he showed me. His explanation was straightforward, honest, and made perfect sense. Leaving that contactor in place would’ve caused repeated hard starts, voltage drop, and eventually a major failure. He didn’t upsell. He didn’t exaggerate.
