SCAMMERS! Please beware! These are fake reviews giving good ratings. You can find other websites with real reviews on this company. Everyone has the same horrible experience. Michelle is extremely wicked! She may be the devil. They use older white men to make the sale in the beginning and they will completely change everything after you pay the deposit. Contacts cost etc not professional straight scammers. Please donâ  t use this company!

As I type this, I literally just kicked the movers out and wouldnt let them touch our things. My wife and I are suppose to be in Miami by Monday but this company (especially Michelle) was worth money/time lost. Upon arrival of the movers, the man in charge Zack stated that they wouldnt be able to get the truck from Dallas to our new home without us having to rent another truck ourselves (uhaul/budget can etc) and meet their truck to basically deliver it ourselves unless we used a shuttle for $700 more even after our apartments in Miami stated that wasnt necessary! As if this shit isnt insulting enough, our contract price through Tommy Lee (yeah you read it correct) was $1454 and some change. We paid a deposit of $950 and our remaining balance owed today was $918. Thats $1854 and not $1454. They added some sort of admin fee of $600 on top as well. The only reason we werent renting a uhaul for this trip was bc it would have been $300 cheaper and I thought $300 extra was worth us being able to drive 18hrs together in our car rather than following behind. This company false advertises and according to previous complaints this is NOT the first time this has happened! Iâ ve requested to be refunded for this and was told Iâ ll have a $700 cancellation fee. Absolutely ridiculous!!! This company is bait and switch!!! Michelle is the worst. As someone who works in logistics i was shocked at how she speaks to customers! I would never speak to one of my drivers/customers/ or anyone for that matter the way she did. Insulting over the phone. I canâ t even be mad right now due to the shock of how anyone would allow her in customer service let alone in charge of other peopleâ s belongings. I was also told Id get a confirmation call the day before from her. That never happened I even called her multiple times! Was also told the pick up today was 2-4pm and they showed up at 12:30!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Its a joke all the way around and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!

.5 is too many stars Every scummy, scammy, horror story in one place: 1. Bait and switch on a signed contract 2. Breached contact with first responder discount 3. After loading belongings, canceled the discount. When employee Michelle M. was questioned about the canceled discounts, she responded with verbal abuse, literally cussing out the client. 4. Employee Chlomi O. screamed threats and abuse in the doorway of a new home, threatening the customer to the point she locked herself in the bathroom, then forced the husband to sign a new contract while holding everything they owned hostage. 5. Ultimately tried to steal belongings and hide in storage before learning there was a tracker on the truck. 6. When belongings were finally released, most of it was damaged or broken. I can only assume the money they scam goes to a troll farm to post fake 5-star reviews because this company and everyone associated with it are the bottom feeders your momma warned you about. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS.

The first company that called me turned out to be a scam, but Texas movers group was able to pick up very quickly and deliver only a single day off of my ideal date! (There's a 2 week window but they marked down my ideal delivery day and did their best to meet it. Even though it was kind of rushed.) The guys were very quick and professional too. Once the stuff was there, the guy's back up was super late, but he did everything himself and in a timely manner. They took a lot of stress off my shoulders!

Texas movers group ruined my hardwood floors when they delivered my furniture and will not pay for the damages.

Texas movers group conned me into paying an outrageous amount of money and hired people from Craigslist to complete their work. After arriving ahead of schedule and not responding to my inquiries of an ETA they threatened to hold my stuff and drop it off back in Texas If I changed my review which was supposed to give me a discount. *it did not* I wish to never see their name again and I hope no one falls into their sham of a business. Please remove them from my profile.

Run, do not walk away for this group of scammers. unilateral decision to book an entire moving semi truck when it all fit in a 26 ft. U-Haul. Do not engage them unless your legal council is the one writing the contract. find someone else or move it yourself, you will be better off.

My husband and I have moved cross state six times. This is the first time using Texas Movers Company and The only time we have had several things damaged in a move. Boxes were crushed, cabinet drawers were dented in, and several fragile heirlooms were destroyed and broken. We were very very disappointed with the loading the truck. Things we will never be able to replace.

Texas Movers underbid their estimate and then up charged us on moving day by almost double. They did a good job with moving our stuff, but they did lose some of it. We have never had an out-of-state move before, so we did not have anything to compare it to.

This company is running a scam. Mine was an out of state move to Iowa, and when the movers came in on 7/28, a guy named Mark, went around to each of the rooms in my current apartment and said, you will be way over the 913 cubic feet on your quote, cost me $1000.00 more, this is the PHYSICAL MOVING DAY, what could I do???? I was moving out of state! if this was a local move, I would have told them to get the hell out. So, they take my inventory, don't tell me where, Mark tells me to call Michelle the following week, I do, and she gives me a total run around and bs about I can't give you an estimated date of delivery. So, this ordeal goes into week 2, and week 3, august 16th, the delivery of my inventory finally arrives. No communication of the delivery, horrible service, and abusive by the warehouse person, Zack, and terrible movers moving my inventory in, got stuff in the wrong rooms, had to move it to the correct room myself. DON'T USE, SHOWS UP AS PERMANENTLY CLOSED ON GOOGLE. THEY NEED TO STAY CLOSED, AS THIS IS THE WORST AND TRAUMATIZING MOVE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFETIME. DON'T GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY AND RUN LIKE HELL IF YOU GET ANYTHING IN YOUR EMAIL OR TEXT OR PHONE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, THEY WILL THREATEN TO HOLD YOUR INVENTORY HOSTAGE IF YOU DON'T PAY!!!!

The actual movers were fine. The problem came with getting any later information about the status of my delivery. Michelle M., who is the dispatcher, was the rudest most unhelpful person I have ever spoken to. My furniture was picked up on July 29, 2021 in Fort Worth, TX for delivery to Virginia. It's now August 9, 2021 and I have been unable to get any information at all. DO NOT USE THIS "SERVICE!"!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT USE TEXAS MOVERS GROUP. They are a group of scammers. They work in concert to scam you on every corner. Texas Movers Group is a very dishonest business. They lie so easily it seems effortless. I hired them to move my goods and that was an enormous mistake on my part. The sales pitch is to underbid the competition. The moment you sign the contract the lies and misinformation begins. It started with them changing the date of pickup. I was assured the reason for delaying my pickup by 2 days was to ensure my goods would arrive by the expected delivery date. When the movers arrived late the first thing the older mover, Mark, did was looked at my items and without measuring he threw out a random number of how many cubic feet I was over. I even removed items from the inventory, but it was clear he had a price gouging goal he wanted to meet. He stated I needed to pay $800 more in order to move my goods. I was verbally informed by Mark regardless of how many more items I added it would be included in the $800 price increase. He then stated I would have to pay an additional 4% If I used a card for payment. When I pushed back on his random figure the rehearsed line about having 20 years of experience was spoken. Math is concrete regardless of how many stated years of experience. After coming to an agreement Mark sat the entire time and did not assist the other movers at all. The movers asked to use the bathroom ( I didnâ t mind). However, they left a puddle of urine on the floor in front of the toilet. After my goods were in the possession of Texas Movers Group I called to check the status of delivery. I was told by an extremely cunning and deceitful dispatcher ,Michelle, that my goods would definitely not make it by expected delivery date. I asked for an update of when to expect delivery. The accommodating and conciliatory customer service portrayed before they received my goods turned to complete garbage. I spoke with Michelle she stated Texas Movers Group had 14 days to deliver and didnâ t know when I would receive delivery within those 14 days. I even asked for a location update of my goods and she stated she didnâ t know. She then proceeded to tell me that she didnâ t know who could have told me that I would receive delivery around expected delivery date. Texas Movers Group is who informed me I could receive my goods near or on expected date of delivery. Her response then was to tell me I was lied to. How convenient to admit to a lie by your company when I literally did not know where my goods were or when I could expect to receive them. The inconvenience caused by utilizing The Texas Movers Group is beyond words. When speaking to dispatch verbally on the phone it was relayed to me that I would receive my goods within 14 calendar days when goods were not delivered they changed it from 14 calendar days to 14 business days The price gouging continued upon date of delivery. The movers asked for an extra $350 because my front door was more than 75 feet from the freight liner my goods arrived in. On day 15 I finally received my goods and almost all were damaged. Needless to say I didnâ t receive my goods in the same good condition in which I gave them to Texas Movers group. Every box packed was busted. Almost all furniture pieces were damaged. My end tables were dented and chipped on the corners, night stands chipped and cracked, sofa arm loose and my glass top dining table shattered to pieces. I DO NOT want any more consumers to be a victim of this scum of a company called Texas Movers Group. If you are looking for a mover and want quality run from Texas Movers Group because they are not it!

Dressers, mirrors, entertainment center, refrigerator, broken and damaged. Was told that they had had $50K insurance for that. Unfortunately, the fine print states they pay the weight of the item X .60 cents. Example...dresser weighs 150 lbs X .60 = $90. Does not even come close to replacing it. Crew that delivered items was contracted locally. They damaged my front door bringing the refrigerator after I told them the door needed to be removed first. They decided it would squeeze in. Bedroom wall was damaged by the headboard that was leaned against it. Do not see anything in the fine print for that.

This group is a bait and switch. They delayed my move which I approved and then did not show up until 2 days later. Then, the bill went from 12,000 to 26,000 and if we did not sign they would have left us high and dry.
