I hired Ricky (owner of Top Notch Communications) to move 2 TVs and reinstall at my 91 year old parent home. He quoted the work, which I felt was overbid, but at the time, I felt secure about having him do the work within my timeframe. He was young and just getting his new business started. He showed up on time and did the work - however, one of the TVs was installed way too high and he did not ask me prior where I wanted it on the wall. I paid him via check ($450) because he said he did not have a method to accept credit cards yet. I also tipped him and his assistant very well ($40 each). He left the cords exposed and said that would be an additional charge to hide them. We set up a time for the following weekend and he sent me another quote and invoice, which again was high ($400) - this was to just simply drop the cords behind the sheetrock and pull through behind the furniture. The only parts were two plastic covers. He showed up on time and did one of the TVs. He did not do the 2nd TV and claimed he would need additional supplies. He said he would come back at no charge and complete the work. I paid him $400 by check, and tipped him and his helper again. That was in early July 2022. I reached out to him at the end of July and he said he had the flu and would get back to me. He did not. I waited 11 days and reached out, he said he had COVID and was just then getting back to work. He said he would see when he can get back and would let me know soon. He did not. I waited another few weeks and reached out. No response. I waited 3 days and reached out again, this time he said he would stop by the next day at 3 pm. At 3:43 pm, he texted and said he was running behind. This was extremely inconvenient because I was at work and my daughter stayed home from work, at a loss of income, to accommodate his schedule. A few hours later he said he was 2 hours away. We rescheduled for the next day. He did not show up again. At 6:31 pm, I texted him and called. No voice mail is setup. He did respond about 2 hours later and claimed that he was involved in an auto/truck accident and was at the hospital. I was very nice and told him that I hoped he would be okay. I waited another 10 days - texted him, but no response. I waited another 5 days, texted him, still no response. He has blocked me, and my daughter (she also tried to connect with him). I admit that I should never have paid him via check or before the work was done, but I trusted that he was operating in good faith. He took advantage of me, a recent widow and my 91 year old parents. Please stay away from this company. He at least owes me 1/2 of the $400 I paid for work he did not complete and obviously has no intention of finishing. He is operating fraudulently and without remorse. It is disgusting that he took advantage of people who can least afford to lose even small amounts. I did not want to post such a negative review and hoped he would eventually finish the work, but I had no choice. I am also extremely disappointed in for allowing this business on their platform.

Came out for the install on a Saturday, which was awesome, but did not have everything need for the job-possibly because the company truck was not available; came back Sunday and finished the install. Clean up was not great because they left extra wire laying on the ground outside, did not reseal where the wire came into the house and left pieces of cut off wire on the driveway.

Although the tv antenna wouldnâ t work at our home because of the location and obstructions, I was very impressed and would use them again for future needs.
