Texas State Fence & Patio

I received estimates from four different companies before deciding on Texas State Fence and could not be happier with my decision. Even though they quoted me nearly $1000 more than the lowest bidder, the quality of the materials they used well surpassed that price difference and in the end I probably ended up saving several hundred dollars. Their quality and workmanship was remarkable and everything was completed as promised, to the letter. I would very strongly recommend Texas State Fence and will call them first for any future project like this.

I thought that Sean was great. He came out to the house on time, to be frank, he was early! He had photographs waiting to show and drew up the fence that I saw in my head. He made it come to life before my eyes. The project was completed on time. I would recommend Texas State Fence to my friends.

Rep Jon English was very professional and good about keeping me informed when there were a few delays. The fence cleaning and staining turned out really well and my only disappointment is with the amount of overspray. If I'd known it would be as extensive as it was, I would have made sure to provide enough drop cloths to protect the grass, particularly the grass area next to the driveway on my neighbor's side of the fence. They haven't complained, but I do feel badly that that strip of grass is pretty much ruined from the overspray.

Very good craftsmanship, but had to hire another company to redo a couple of boards to my satisfaction...They stated that damage to other boards would occur if they replaced the 3 damaged boards, which they used to build my fence...In the end a total of five boards had to be replaced, but were done by another company since Texas State Fence refused to replace the boards...I would recommend them solely on value, but their service after the sale could be better...

The quality of the work was very very good. The workers were hard working and did an excellent job. I felt they could improve a little bit in their communication with us. The fence came out beautiful. They kept the overall area neat and clean but took 2 days to come and pick up the remaining lumber and cement which was left on the lawn. This meant that we could not water the lawn for another 2 days. When they did come to pick up, it was one person and I felt obliged to help him load the lumber on to the truck. We felt the pricing was reasonable.

Fence is exactly what we wanted. Excellent craftsmanship and the work was done on time. Sean and work crew were very good to work with. Sean helped in our design so we got exactly what we wanted and the results prove it.

The quality of the fence they built is unlike any other. The quality of wood is top notch and the design is awesome. The bid provided was VERY competetive. I received 5 bids in total and his bid came in only $300 above what a day laborer was going to charge me and the quality wouldn't have even been close to what Texas State Fence provided. Sean also provided no charge on my demolition, box post covers, gates and double trim. One of my solar tiki torches ended up being broken during the demo. I informed Sean and he provided me a credit on the total bill that more than covered the cost. I now have the best fence in the whole neighborhood!!!

Spent extensive time developing the design for the fence based on our needs and wants. The builders were efficient, and managed to work around my garden without destroying any of my plants!! Beautiful work, we love it!

The fence looks great. I am very pleased with the job that they did.

Sean did a great job of understanding what I wanted, makng suggestions and delivering as promised. Junior obviously understands how to do his job. I was home most of the time during the construction (retired the day before the job started) and it was enlightening to watch the process. Sean worked with us to build a gate that my 87 year old Father-in-law would be able to use easily.
