I hired Joshua to install a panel and transfer switch for my generator in July. They showed up, the quote was in the ballpark that my research indicated, and they installed the basic panel. Since then, I have tried to get the generator cable from him, and finally, 3 months later, I gave up. I just talked to a master electrician who came highly recommended, because I plan on buying a second generator soon, and found out that the installation is against code, Thayer pull a permit, as required, and the cable outlets were, get this...all female, requiring a custom made cable, or, to use an RV cable, which is against code in a residential installation. I have talked to Joshua on several occasions (at least 4), and still no satisfaction. Now, I am on the hook for a re-installation, and more money.

Josh was very prompt in responding to my request for a quote. He showed up same day and provided me with a free quote on options for my backup generator for the house. He talked me through all of my options and pricing for each option. I decided to have an interlock installed on my main breaker on the side of the house and a 50A plug so I can hook up the generator quick and apply power to the house efficiently. It took about a week or so for the parts to be ordered and received then Josh and his team installed it within 2 hours or so. Pricing was reasonable and they did a great job covering all I needed to know in order to operate the equipment. I would highly recommend Josh and his team for any electrical work around the house.

We started communication on 6/9 and agreed to a price on 6/11 then provided a deposit of $695. They decided not to work on the project and agreed to refund the deposit on 7/11 then again on 7/28. I contacted them again about the refund on 8/3 with no response.

I HIGHLY recommend thayer electric. Theyre very thorough and leave no messes behind . They where very respectful and caring of all of my belongings put back exactly where they where. Needles to say i found my new electrical company!
