The Blinds Side

Beware! The reviews on this site must be a sham. In contrast to the prior reviews, my experience with David has been awful. He was very responsive when I first reached out to him (weirdly responsive); David responded within an hour or so and wanted to come by that day. I knew what I wanted so it was a pretty straightforward process and I was able to place an order that day (putting down a pretty substantial deposit). Then David disappeared. After three months or hearing nothing from David, I reached out to ask for an update. It took many rounds of my emailing and texting him, and me ultimately threatening to cancel our order, before he finally responded. Then things got really crazy. David offered a $1000 discount and promised the blinds would be installed by a certain date. That date passed with no communications. We went through this process at least 3 times. This saga continues. David has promised to return our refund, but as of the date I write this that has not happened.

David is really great. Friendly and trustworthy. We got plantation shutters and three sets of blinds. Everything looks fantastic. Have already recommended him to two friends

I called mid morning, urgently requesting same day service on repairing a wooden slat guest room blind that was stuck in the middle, with sleep over company expected that evening. I actually got same day service, although I had to wait until the very end of the day, as other work was scheduled prior. It turned out to only be a 5 minute adjustment required , and when I asked the owner what he could do to help with the price originally quoted, which could be considered in a more or less standard range, he was very fair, I thought, in adjusting the original quote by 25%. The work was done well, still in time for guests, which was my primary concern, and the installer knew what he was doing , was efficient and professional, and even agreeable about being a little late for his dinner!! They did me a favor by coming at 5:00pm, although I had been promised it would be several hours earlier. Obviously the previous job ran longer than expected, and I was lucky that they were working in my neighborhood to enable the repair to be done at all same day. I would certainly use their services again if needed!

Installer was on time and professional. Did great work and it looks awesome.

Could not truly rate Work quality as a part had to be ordered to replace the rod & control wand. They ordered it right away and should be back to my house within a week to complete my repair.
