Met David and discussed project. He gave comments and quote and we set date to begin work. He was timely and professional and completed the work in one day for a fair and affordable fee.

David responded to my initial inquiry within a day, made an appointment at my earliest convenience and not only was on time, but texted me letting me know when he was 10 minutes away. He then fixed the problem I had hanging a door and made it look even better than I imagined. He is friendly, down to earth and very professional. Price was also very fair. I am hiring him to install another door next month.

I usually go into these home improvement projects with a lot of apprehension. Yesterday, David with The Broken Chair put all my fears at rest. He showed up on time, ready to work and didn't stop for 7 hours straight when the job was finished. As often happens, the job became more than he anticipated and the straightforward door install turned into a very labor intensive floor repair due to water damage. Undaunted by the job in front of him, David repaired the floor, hung the door, and installed the door hardware with precision, professionalism, and pride. Yes, actual pride in the work completed. Well done, David. I won't hesitate to call David with The Broken Chair when the next job looms over my head... and so shouldn't you.

David did a great job replacing our exterior French doors which required quite a bit of custom work. He takes his time and really cares about the work product. Also a very nice guy. I could easily picture David as a pro on a "This Old House" episode.
