The Cleaning Guy was formed in 2007 in Springfield, IL, with a simple philosophy: "give the lady what she wants". Since that time we have expanded our reach with offices in Jacksonville and Bloomington, IL. We still consider ourselves to be a small locally owned and managed cleaning company. Many times you will encounter the owners and managers performing work on cleaning projects. We enjoy that level of service and customer contact. Because every house, every client and every situation is different we felt it would be not only arrogant but also irresponsible to attempt to create a program and force clients into it. Instead we develop a custom cleaning regiment around what you want and what you need. Our schedules are flexible to accommodate your hectic lifestyle, not our openings. We use products in your home which are familiar to you and if you would like environmental friendly products use we can accommodate that also. Bottom line... You tell us how to make you happy.

Jeff was very professional and told me everything that he was going to do before he did it. I would highly recommend the cleaning guy for your cleaning purposes. He did a great job of cleaning out my dryer vent.

They neglected to restore water to the washer after re-positioning it, causing me some consternation.

"I believe it has been over a month since this service was done - I can not recall if we disconnected the water to the washer or not. If you needed to reconnect it my apologies. As you will recall this was quite an involved process and there were many steps to get the dryer vent cleared. Typically we do not need to alter the washing machine to access the dryer vent. As I stated I simply can not recall if that was needed at this project or not."

They are in such a rush to get to the next place to clean that they never do a good job. Floors are not cleaned well, toilet has rings that I have to clean after they leave, shelves not dusted well as many times items are not moved, crumbs left in couch or chairs, mirrors have streaks

"We can only clean so much in a house as cluttered as yours. You should consider hiring an organizer to put your stuff away so cleaning can actually be done. We discussed this at our initial consultation and you agreed that your "hoarding" would be an issue for anyone cleaning your house. It should be noted that you kept using our services after leaving such an exaggerated (BS) review with no contract and ability to terminate services at any time."

He was in steam cleaners. It took 3 days for carpet to dry with all ceiling fans .He is personable and directive to the home owner. I think his other services might be better. Nice guy but could use more organization.
