We had a very complicated timeline and project, which included waiting for other, less reliable, contractors to do their work and moving all of our septic lines to another side of the house. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, were professional, and everything is running smoothly six months later.

They have been my plumbers since 2004. They have completely replumbed my house and my Mom's apartment. They worked neatly and cleaned up after themselves. They are honest and stand behind their work.

The new water main was installed well, the only thing they could have done better was filling and reseeding the trench. They just threw some grass seed on top of the ground. Update: 11/02/2020 For the main water, I went through this company and got a quote from several companies. As most quotes were close I hired the Drain Doctors, and they got the job done quickly. So a couple of months later when the water started coming up through the basement where they had cut the old water line. I contacted them again. I was on vacation at that time, so they came out, checked, and gave me an estimate of $16,000 to run a new drain line from my downspouts and out my back yard. My fault as I panicked and thought they were honest, I had them to do this. It took one day. Now I was not as panicked and thought more of it, and asked another contractor what it would cost. The second contractor estimated 6000 for the job. Beware the estimator will come across as a nice honest guy. Do not let them do any work without having other estimates. When I asked him after the work was done why it cost so much, he told me they charged by the foot. Be very aware do not let them work without other estimates.

The Drain Doctors were great. Super knowledgeable, helped me understand all the existing drains my house has and put in the new french drain.

Family owned and great to work with. Joe is understanding and very knowledgeable. He won’t make you feel like you need a complete remodel to replace your sump pump like another Home Advisor plumbing company did right before Joe showed up. Be careful and get multiple quotes! Even when using this App. Joe found the problem within 2 minutes and had a temporary fix that saved us $780 right away that the other Home Advisor company wanted to charge us to emergency pump the standing water from our crawl space. Joe found a way to pump our crawl space using our own sump pump and only charged us for the new part and install when it came in. The other company wanted us to hire a general contractor to knock an access hole from the interior of our home to our crawl space just so they could fit a new pump basin down there and the tech acted like that was no big deal! Then they wanted to completely remodel the drainage system down there and tie our sump storm water into our sewer line! Which we were told later was illegal, and a horrible idea besides. Who are these “pros” making suggestions like that? Again, go with Drain Doctors and don’t chance the other guys. I don’t want to throw the other company under the bus in case they just have one bad tech that was having a bad day. Joe and The Drain Doctors cost us well under $100 to completely flush our crawl space (with our own pump) and a sump pump repair. The other company would’ve charge $780 for emergency drain and pump, $5300 for new sump pump, basin and drain path and who knows how much it would’ve cost us to add an entry to our crawl space from an interior closet?? I get angry just thinking about it. So choose The Drain Doctors - ask for Joe - you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Drain Doctors!

Received a call within minutes of submitting my request. Communication was excellent, a tech responded to my home within hours and evaluated my issue. Work to remedy my problem was scheduled for later that day and the job was completed quickly. Every interaction with each person associated with Drain Doctors was friendly, professional and courteous and reassuring. Strongly recommended.

They cleared the blockage and used a camera to verify what v had caused it. They also mapped out where the turns and bellies in the pipe so that I knew what was going on since this was a problem I had before. Their cost was excellent! Less than previous plumbers that had come to fix this issue.

Found the problem quickly.

Plumbing work was done well, clean up and repair of area could be improved. Hired a mason to cement my pavers that were cut for the plumbing work

I hired Drain Doctors to replace a foundation drainage system that was installed incorrectly by another contractor and hook up my drainage sump pump to 1500. water tank I purchased to store roof water. The quoted price was fair for the amount of work and the fix did not need me to remove a fence post (which another contractor said needed to be done). I liked the owner, Bob. He seemed genuine and knowledgeable. Work began as planned. Paul and Gary showed up to do the work. Both were professional and polite. When it was time to hook up the water tank we found more drainage problems left to me by the previous contractor. Paul and Gary did not bat an eye. They went to work repairing the line that was dug too deep and had 90-degree angles in it. They even went out of their way to purchase a ball valve for my water tank, ensuring easy hose replacement. I will definitely use Drain Doctor is for plumbing and drainage needs for my future home improvements.

It is not a good experience. Spent three days and a lot of money but didn't get the problem resolved and actually didn't even figure out the root cause. The quote is very confusing. They said the camera inspection fee can be waived if I choose the company to fix the problem. But the project quote actually has the inspection fee. And they told me it is some tricky mathematics stuff and actually that is not the inspection fee. I believed them and paid what they asked, but when they failed the project, and said they can refund 50% project fee, but actually they charged the camera inspection fee and only refund half of the other part. They play mathematics games with their customers! So be careful with the quote when you work with them. The worker worked hard, but when they find the project is harder than they expect, they give up by asking a price that you couldn't accept or ask customers to do the work by themselves, which is not very professional.

They were nice and come out quickly to fix broken water line outside my mother's home, during freezing weather. They helped her to understand how they found and corrected the issue. Would hire again.
