I thought they did a great job. They arrived on time over the three days of work. They had to delay 1 day due to weather, but it worked out perfectly and they were willing to work around my family's schedule when we had company in town. We had multiple people come and bid the repair and they were able to come out and fix the foundation the soonest when it was most worrisome to us. They were very professional and polite. They addressed each one of my concerns politely and I felt like they would go the extra mile to make sure that I was happy. They took the time and effort to ensure that the job was done well and to not produce any plumbing damage. I only say that the quality was a B because the piers they used were less expensive, but I was reassured that they would last with a lifetime transferable warranty. This gave them a competitive advantage and were motivated to do the work. They also gave me the option of the steel piers as opposed to the pressed concrete. They were confident the pressed concrete would work and I chose the pressed concrete. They gave advice on how to keep the foundation repaired. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who asks. <br />

Very responsive & professional. Much lower quote than other foundation people we contacted. House sloped very badly in the back. Luis Caputo did address this issue and raised the house considerably; it was still about 6' off inside the house. The house had new tile & laminate flooring and he was very careful to preserve this as it was one of our concerns. <br /> However, in doing the foundation work, the front part of the house where we didn't have a problem before shifted and caused slated floors in the living/dining area and one bedroom. <br />

I had several inches of movement in my pier-and-beam house and had the work quoted by more than one company. Luis gave the best price and was able to start the soonest. I read multiple reviews on this site and looked them up on BBB and saw they had a great reputation among people who have actually hired them. <br /> The men were punctual or called if there was going to be a delay. Everyone was friendly and professional. They had to access the crawl space beneath my house through a trap door in my closet and put down plastic to prevent mud from being tracked through my house. After the work was done, they filled in the holes, replaced the removed landscaping, and applies mortar to exterior cracks on the home. All of the work was complete within 2 weeks of getting my first estimate and I received a report from a structural engineer certifying the work along with a lifetime warranty if there are any issues. <br /> Due to the price, the quality of work, and the professionalism of Mr Capote, I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of foundation repair. <br />

I spent months trying to decide which foundation company to use. The quotes and approaches to addressing the issues were thousands of dollars apart, so I couldn't compare apples to apples. I finally hired a foundation "expert" and that didn't help me know who to choose or what to do, but did make me aware that water runoff from my roof was an additional issue I needed to address to prevent future foundation issues. <br /> Upon the recommendation of a neighbor who had been pleased with the foundation work one on her home, I asked Luis Capote, owner of The Foundation Company, for an estimate. Not only was his quote several thousand dollars less than some other companies with nearly the same amount of work, but he was able to give me a firm price for excavation work, since the crawl space under my pier and beam home was very limited. One other company I was considering told me they'd have to see how much excavation was needed once they began the work, and it would cost me $300.00/hr. <br /> The day the work was scheduled to begin, we had a torrential downpour, five inches of rain, so we had to wait several days for things to dry out before they could begin. Since the soil was now heavier, it made the work for his crew, but they worked hard and consistently, spending two days in excavation work. It would have cost me a fortune at the other company's rate, so I was grateful knowing upfront what it would cost, which I thought was very reasonable, considering how much work they did. <br /> We also had two days of rain in the middle of the work, and the crew made tarps diverting the water away from all the openings under my house to protect the work they had done. <br /> My house was challenging because of the landscaping I had already put in close to my house. Although some plant destruction was unavoidable, hey moved plants that would be ruined, and were careful with the others that were nearby. <br /> In some areas my home had to be lifted several inches, and they carefully monitered the work from above and below to keep from overlifting and damaging pipes or sewer lines. In a few areas, where they noticed issues already present, they took note and made me aware, then flagged those areas and any new ones that needed attention to make it easier for my plumber to find them. <br /> My foundation now feels very solid. I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I had it repaired and now I see how solid it feels. Before, I would walk by my china cabinet and all the dishes would rattle and the doors would bang. Now I hear nothing but my footsteps. <br /> Even though having foundation work done is a stressful process, Luis was always personable and professional, and when I was getting estimates, he even came out a second time when I had more questions. Whenever I had a question or concern, he addressed it immediately and adequately. His crew is hard-working, friendly, and conscientious. <br /> I would definitely recommend The Foundation Company, and am planning to use them to install new flashing around my home because I know they will do it right, and in a way that will protect my foundation. <br />

Luis was an excellent contractor. He communicated his arrival time prior to meeting me at the home. He was running early and the timing worked out great. Luis evaluated my home's foundation slab, used a zip level to determine variations in elevation across the slab, and inspected the slab. He concluded that the foundation is in good shape and does not require any repairs. His inspection was thorough and he provided a report. <br />

<p>I contacted foundation company and several other companies to quote the foundation problem that I had with my house. I was impressed with the punctuality and the professionalism that I received by Luis. He was very informative and was able to answer all of the questions that I had. He also had an independent engineer come out to look at the house before the quote which no other company had done. When I received the quotes from the companies I choose The Foundation Company due to several factors, which did include Cost. They were not the low cost quote but they were very close, the other factors were knowledge of the issue, responsiveness, reviews and level of comfort. <br /> <br /></p> <p>My foundation is unique. I have two slabs due to an extension on the original house. The second slab was moving and the level from front to back was a significant issue. The foundation company finished in 3 days. We were originally schedule to start the day that the ice-mageddon hit and the work was pushed out three days. It was completely understandable and luckily it did not affect my schedule. The crew that came in were very respectful and professional. The crew put up plastic to protect the furniture in the work areas and cleaned up when the work was done. </p> <p>The work was finished about a month earlier than this review was written. I just had the final inspection from the same engineer that visited prior to the quote, he showed that our house was level and the work that was done by The Foundation Company had been done correctly. I am having a plumber come out to do a plumbing test to ensure that we don't have any damage/ leaks due to the movement of the slab originally and then from the work that was done to make the slab level again. They also recommended that we do not do any cosmetic work on the house for a month. I am very happy with the work and see the difference throughout the house. </p> <br />

Louis and his crew were very professional and worked quickly, quietly, neatly and the repair was complete in a short amount of time. The post engineer and plumbing test were both very satisfactory. We would definitely use them again if we ever had need and would highly recommend them. <br />

It went really well. They were here on time throughout the project. The whole time they were working, I thought that they were very courteous when I went to speak with them. The work completed was done well. They did have to remove a few bushes, but they had warned me of this potential problem.

Estimate provided was quick and professional. They took the time to clearly explain all the questions I had patiently. The estimate provided was very reasonable and the start date was much sooner than other companies estimates. <br /> The day of the repair, the crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. The crew was polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves when the repair was finished. The work was finished sooner than expected and the previously sticking doors, etc all fit back into place correctly. <br /> Following the repair, there was a hole in the sidewalk that the crew later filled in as well as patching up cracks in mortar outside. <br /> Overall I was please with the price and service and would use them again. <br /> <br />
