Lawn Care Maintenance and Mowing
I recently moved into a new home, and the previous owners did not maintain the yard - it was an absolute mess. I called the Grounds Guys, and they came out same-day to provide a bid and explained everything that needed to be done and could be done later on. Their bid was reasonable and affordable for the work that needed to be done, and I have hired them to continue through the season. They do great work, and I recommend them if you need a landscaper.
Response from The Grounds Guys of West Winston-Salem
"Thanks Rachel, it has been a pleasure."

Lawn & Yard Waste Clean Up
Terrible customer service resulting in me ending their service.
Response from The Grounds Guys of West Winston-Salem
"If you look at our other reviews this is not the norm for how our clients feel about our work... Dennis wanted us to do things outside of the written contract. One time he came out and yelled at the top of his lungs when I told him acorns were not included in the contract for leaf removal. After he was done yelling at me I calmly told him we would get up the acorns and said nothing else. On another day the technician said Dennis loved the way he was mowing his lawn and gave him a tip. The next thing I know Dennis cancelled the contract after it rained for 3 days, and we did not come that week. Cancelling the contract when he did work in his favor financially. The funny thing is Dennis decided to write this review two and half years after he called to cancel. I wish he would have just called me to discuss what is still bothering him."

Landscape - Install Landscaping for Yard or Garden
The Grounds Guys, Brian and Tim, were the top professionals. They were polite, timely, AND gave me and wife something that we will cherish for as long as we have this home. And all within budget. I loved how they balanced what we wanted with what will work and look amazing and the final product was spot on. Man can t recommend them enough!!

Shrub Trimming or Removal Service
The Grounds Guys were very professional, providing a detailed description of the work with their estimate and a signed agreement. They arrived on time, did the work we had discussed and cleaned everything up when they were finished. The shrubbery and flower beds look great now and I am very pleased with the results.

Lawn Care Maintenance and Mowing
So far so good! We hired the grounds guys for lawn cutting, edging, blowing the driveway, and raking leaves in the fall. They've only been working us for a couple weeks, so time will reveal if they continue to be reliable and professional. I reserve 5 star reviews for pros I've seen go above and beyond my expectations, so 4.5 means my expectations are met. We will continue to monitor but are satisfied for now.
Response from The Grounds Guys of West Winston-Salem
"Thanks Christine. We look forward to helping anyway possible with your yard improvements!"

Lawn Care Maintenance and Mowing
Nice guys, but it was a challenge for them to scope out and complete the projects based on what I wanted done. They have had to come back two to three times to get the job done right.
Response from The Grounds Guys of West Winston-Salem
"We go out to visit our clients to get a description of what the client wants and have the client sign a contract with the details of work that will be performed written in it. Sometimes there can be some confusion about work that was discussed and work performed. The customer stated we came back and "got the job done right". We only came back once to get the job done right not 2 or 3 times. This explains why there may have been some confusion to begin with."
