Write a ReviewI AM 85 AND MY WIFE IS 80. WE ARE BOTH IN POOR HEALTH, WITH ME BEING HANDICAPPED AND MY WIFE BED RIDDEN. GETTING TH GROUT REDONE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM WAS SOMETHING WE HAD WAITED TO DO FOR SOME TIME. WE HIRED THE GROUT DOCTOR, WHICH TURNS OUT TO BE A BIG MISTAKE. THEY WERE TO HAVE COME OUT THIS PAST MONDAY TO RE-DO THE WORK THEY HAD JUST FINISHED. THEY CANCELLED THAT WHEN THEY LEARNED WE HAD A DISPUTE FILED A PROTEST ON THE WORK THEY JUST FINISHED. I assume the 6 month warranty they gave us is bull sxxx also. Should have known better when the parting words were รข it will dry your color now we are out the money to get the floor repaired, and are asking for angus help. Terribly disappointed in the grout doctor, and in myself as well. I have read about elderly people being victim of scams. It looks like I am one of them. Do I expect to get help from Angies, not really; just thought I could try. Respectfully Max wxxxx Veteran Retired teacher
They did a great job ๐.
NIGHTMARE! STAY AWAY! They came out and gave me a quote to paint my grout. we got scheduled for this past Tuesday. 1/3 way through the job I went to check on it and it looked like crap. I could see a lot of places where the GROUT was not painted. also, the paint was on the tile. I spoke with the people that were here and called the office. I also spoke with the owner David. They initially said that it was the product I chosen. Then I told them they cannot blame it on the product since they were not willing to follow the product instructions and do two coats of paint, even though Jennifer, who gave me the quote, specifically looked at that bottle of paint to see the instructions and to see how much drying time was needed in between each coat. After a while, they then told me that my grout lines were uneven and so when they went to wipe the paint off the tile there were wiping off the grout paint that they just put down. they told me things happen when they go to the job and that is why it is called a quote. i told David they should have told me when they started and saw that was an issue instead of continuing the job looking like crap. Also, they did not bring the issue to my attention. I told them about it. They were planning on leaving my grout like that. The owner David spoke with his tech on the phone while I was standing there next to him, and his tech said that they would have to go through all the grout lines and fix them to make sure they were even and that there was a lot of furniture that was not moved, so he was not sure about underneath it but more than likely they were gonna have to do all the grout lines. David then got on the phone with me and told me that he would have to charge me an additional $450 to fix all the grout lines. I finally agreed under duress being my house was upside down And I needed this done by Friday. They then told me they were coming back on Thursday. They showed up today, Thursday. Did part of the house, and then the owner who was here working on this today told me that he would have to charge me additional money to fix the GROUT. I told him no way because he quoted me $450 just 2 days ago to fix all the grout. he had the nerve to tell me that he wants paid for the mess he made. He left all my furniture out of place And left the grout lines a mess. I told him I have to pay someone to fix his mess. he then said he is calling the police. stay far away from the scammer. they are unprofessional and do not do a good job. they were taking advantage of me by continuing asking to increase the price since they knew I was on a deadline
Actually only the evaluator came. She m a tched grout color to her samples and explained the cleaning that must be done first, etc. We scheduled tomorrow for new grout.
David and his team did a beautiful and thorough job on everything. From repairing grout and replacing tiles to resurfacing our marble countertops, everything was done with care. David was open to making any changes if needed and we are extremely pleased with the result for the price paid. Jennifer was a delight to work with coordinating the work and was always professional and prompt with her communications. Would recommend this company.
David and his crew were amazing. They arrived as promised, did a meticulous job, left no messes behind and were professional and courteous throughout the entire project. I HIGHLY recommend this company if u want a perfect result from a 5-star business.
On a scale of (1) to (10), I would rate the Grout Doctor of San Antonio, a (10). I had my really dirty Ceramic Tile floors, in my home, cleaned and stained recently. I was sure the 'Grout Doctor' team would not be able to clean the really dirty grout. I was wrong! When the Grout Doctor of San Antonio' cleans seals, and stains the the floors in your home; they will look like they did when your floors were newly installed. The Grout Doctor does an amazing job. The workers are professional and prompt, and the staff, and owner, David Flores, responds to each question you may have, in a timely manner. This company does excellent work. R. The cost was half of what other companies quoted me. They worked around my moving schedule and got in and done very quickly.
