DESK WITH HUTCH assembly: David showed up a little early, not too much. He’s very congenial. He laid out all the materials & checked them to the instructions(which he followed to the tee) to make sure nothing was missing. David worked slowly and methodically to made sure every piece fit perfectly. David works carefully & cleanly. He even vacuumed because the box the desk came in had gotten wet and shredded all over when opening it up. He took the box and all the packing and etc. out to the trash on his way out. I would definitely hire him again in a NY minute. His price was very reasonable compared to others I had inquired about.

"I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way and that you are upset and requested a refund we came in we dropped off all materials for your job patch several holes in your walls took care of gaps in your crown sealed the hole in your roof took a $350 deposit out of $700 completed all of the work except for a second coat of spackle I personally came down with the flu and was sick for a week when I asked you if we can delay it two more days so that this way I don't get your husband sick you immediately went to Consumer Affairs file the complaint which you are entitled to but understand people do get sick things do happen that are out of their control"

David gave my husband and I a fair estimate, he did a great job on the work agreed we on and he even worked with me when I had to make some changes and didnt overcharge for the changes as some contractors do. All in all I was very happy and we will definitely be using him again!

Deck or Porch Repair
Always get the quote in writing. Mr. White did not give an estimate in writing. Decking and railings are not his forte. He should listen more and speak less. It would have saved him and me a lot of work.

"we priced the job out back in May when we initially sent you the estimate your complaint to me was that you could not afford the entire project so we removed the painting aspect which you said you were going to complete yourself and we reduce the amount of repairs that we were completing so that this way things were more affordable for you after arriving at the project we realized there were several sections of unsafe handrail which we went ahead and replaced regardless of our agreement to the estimate and invoices that were sent to you via QuickBooks which notifies me when such items are viewed and received you sign the estimate and invoice"

dave and his crew installed a staircase and new closet, they did a great job. while there my roof started to leak and i added on the roof repair. they even painted my grandsons room for me. deffinately would recommend them

Much as I desire to buttress a company with positive comments, I feel that they must be earned. Unprepared and without the correct tools and sundries I was flabbergasted. One would assume that a handyman would, much like a Boy Scout, always be prepared. I asked the gentleman to perform additional services on my home. Hammers, screwdrivers and pipe cutters were not in evidence. He actually asked me, the homeowner, for plastic bags, hammers and a screwdriver. As for the pipe cutter a separate trip to the local box store was required. *Are you serious?** I asked. His response was **well I did not know I would be replacing an outlet** An outlet, a solitary outlet stumped him. Without benefit of a toolbox, he scrambled about mumbling and muttering. I ask my fellow homeowners, would you hire this company?
