Can we give less than 0.5 star? This is the WORST company ever! Guys, please, NEVER consider using The Handymann Repairs & Solutions for any type of construction, renovation, etc. They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in any capacity. My simple garage/printshop renovation was quoted as taking 7-10 days. It's a 13'x21' concrete box, nothing special. Floor, insulation, drywall, some electricity, and a heater. They started work in AUGUST! It is now almost December, and they refuse to give me a working heater. This mess has caused a tremendous loss of work time, orders to remain unprinted and undelivered, and there is no end in sight. Most recently they promised to get it installed last Friday. The whole day went by, and no one showed. He (Mike) is now blaming it on some other company, and won't even tell me who this company is. A shocking amount of shady bullshit going on here. Don't even get me started on the uneven, lumpy concrete floor, the shitty drywall job with gaps everywhere, and a leak under the door that we had rot fix ourselves.

Some people are quick to review the bad but never tell the true story. This customer tried sucking every penny from us and expected us to give him free work. Well, I'm very sorry that's not how this works. The leak under door and drywall damage is because the customer is to cheap to spend the money to fix the exterior walls. so they leak. Hmm! As for the heater goes, we had an HVAC company out and tested the unit everything checked out ok. What the customer did to the unit months after the project finished"

Did a great job on the issues contracted for (replace new window well and remove the old one, replace the gasket on the bottom of the garage door and fill is some grout in the bathroom). In fact, they were the only company we could find on HomeAdvisor that was willing to replace our window well. Will definitely use them again.

Was not able to get the job completed by this pro! Cancelled one appointment, then couldn't order the correct handle. When I asked to have my old one returned, they never responded. Got a locksmith for much less money. Not able to rate quality of actual work as it was never completed.

I had a flood in my bathroom that affected a significant portion of my home, requiring repairs that included replacing hard wood and tile floors, painting, installing a new vanity, drywall, and re-wiring and installing light fixtures. While this job was a huge one to me, it seems that many contractors viewed it as quite small and not really worth their time. Finding and hiring the Handymann to do this work was the best decision I could have made. They treated my project with respect and were extremely committed to producing quality work. From the first consultation to hammering the last nail, they were responsive, committed, and thorough. Even after we thought the work was finished, they came back out to make sure a ceiling fan was properly installed and to fix a small piece of trim that had come loose -- That is how committed they were to making sure I was happy with everything. They even came out to work during a blizzard so they could keep the work moving. They were extremely thorough and did excellent work. I will definitely hire them the next time I need work done on my home.

I had multiple small jobs that I wanted done around the house and had the Handymann come out to fix everything at one time. This including painting, welding, masonry, framing/trim, and HVAC. They were very thorough and did an excellent job in all aspects in a timely fashion. We did have an issue with scheduling and there was a delay between when they first arrived and when they were able to come back out to address the HVAC issue, but they truly bent over backwards to make up for the delay and to make our experience excellent. These are a good group of guys and I got the impression from the first quote to the end of the project that their goal is to become the most trustworthy, high-quality contractor available.

This is hands- down the greatest company to work with! We had an outdated kitchen and they completely breathed new life into it. They totally gutted the place down to the floor boards and old plaster lath. Everything was then replaced from the cabinets, new slate tile flooring, back splash, new appliances, lighting, electrical, molding, drywall, paint, brand new baseboard heating to replace a huge ugly radiator, granite counter tops... the list goes. I could not say better things about the owners, Rob and Mike. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They stayed within our agreed-upon budget and were always happy to answer any questions or concerns we had. Totally open lines of communication the whole time, which for me, is huge! Any changes or things that came up during the project were discussed and addressed immediately. The workers were always polite, clean, well mannered, and cleaned up after. They were a pleasure to have in our home. We plan on using this company for many, many more projects to come! Definitely highly recommend!!

Your word and attention to detail goes a long way. Everyone that rated this company seemed very pleased. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well with my experience. I learned a lot from dealing with this company. I'm not the type to whine and cry online. I trusted their word instead of getting every single thing on paper which resulted in a lot of wasted time and money. Again, lesson learned.

We transformed their home from an out dated 70's style home to a modern open floor plan. Everything came out beautiful. The Handymann worked with them on their budget so that nothing was left unfinished , we even installed basement floors for them at no cost as a thank you for the the opportunity. We have endless emails and text messages saying how happy and great everything looked. Some people are just not able to be satisfied no matter how hard you try!!!"

So happy I hired this company. Knowledgeable - competitive pricing - quality work- on time. Had other companies in who said they could not install my laminate flooring due to ONE problem in my concrete slab. Came in, fixed the problem, installed the floor and molding. Did a beautiful job and went the extra mile with the smallest details. Would hire again and recommend to everyone! Great group of guys.
