"In response to James H.: The Inspection Company provides professional home inspection services with highly trained ASHI Certified Inspectors. Your Inspector provided you with a detailed home inspection report on April 2, 2016 addressing both major and minor issues of the home that would be of concern to you as a new home buyer, be a safety hazard, or cost you great sums of money in repairs. You were not present during the inspection and as you know - also per the Buyer's Agreement of which you signed, an inspection is a snap shot in time. Any number of things can happen days, months, even hours after the inspection is performed. Your calls were returned by our Inspector and he did indeed address your concerns. Per your phone conversation with the Inspector, you were informed that most of your concerns were outside the scope of the inspection an/or were cosmetic which is also outside the scope of inspection. The detailed report provided the opportunity to negotiate with the seller to repair/replace items of minor and major concerns. The inspection report is intended to prevent the Buyer from making a bad decision that could cost thousands of dollars. Due to the undesirable conditions of this house, a decision was made NOT to purchase the house. The Inspection Company did not fail you. In fact, we provided valuable information concerning the conditions of the home. Phone calls were returned and concerns were addressed by the Inspector within days of the inspection. It has been over 8 months since the inspection of the home and we have not heard any feedback regarding this inspection. Everyone on our staff is professional and helpful for ANY client that has requested an inspection be conducted on a prospective home."
