Charlie and his son did an outstanding job installing screening on my covered deck. The result is a high quality, exceptionally strong white aluminum structure, 8 foot high screening without the need for horizontal center bracing; presenting a finished and delightful appearance. In addition to high quality materials, the finished appearance and structural integrity is due to meticulous notching, careful laser measuring, proper tools, experience and craftsmanship. I opted for AllergyGuard screening and will write another review once Iâ ve had enough time and weather changes to determine if it was the right choice.

I needed my back porch re-screened which is 16 x 14 feet. Charlie (TheJackofAllTrades) had to build 10 customized frames on average of about 7 feet tall by 4 feet wide to fit all around the porch and install a new metal door and frame. This included quality screening and reinforcement support for the screen frames. Charlie and a helper did a fantastic job of getting a perfect fit all around including a super nice job with the door installation. They were on time, maintained excellent communication with me, and cleaned up on a daily basis. The whole job took around 3 or 4 days to complete just like the original contract said. I had 4 estimates done and his price was a very fair price. Combined with the professional job and their politeness, I would hire them again in a heart beat and I highly recommend this crew to anyone looking for similar work.

Charlie is a true professional with a unique skill set. We hired Charlie to create framed screens for our outdoor patio. He has his own method of creating these flawless screens that finished our patio in a beautiful way. We could not be more pleased with Charlie's finished product. As a bonus, Charlie is just a great guy. We will certainly hire him for other projects.

Charlie repaired our ceiling that had water damage. He came over the same day I called, assessed the extent of the damage, and provided a quote on the spot. He was genuine and honest in describing what was involved and his quote was good value for my money. He came and did the work as scheduled and did a good job. I did the painting but with the benefit of his advice on what products to buy. We'll be using Charlie again for the next thing that comes up.

We asked Charlie to install a backsplash in our kitchen and make a few other upgrades to our kitchen cabinets. He was very informative on what type of backsplash would be best for our walls and came up with some great ideas on how best to improve the look of our cabinets - especially by using shaped pvc fittings to cover gaps between the cabinets and shoring up the cabinets in order to better support the heavy granite countertops. After all of the work was completed, the kitchen looks fantastic and we've received many compliments on the backsplash. I highly recommend Charlie for anyone looking to undertake a similar project.

Look no further for a 'complete' handyman. Charlie can take on your project...whatever it may be. I've instructed our property manager to use only Charlie the Jack of all Trades in the future for ALL maintenance projects at our property in Orange Hunt Estates, Springfield, VA. Charlie did outstanding work to solve a very difficult water leak that was going into the garage and down in the basement. He was very knowledgeable and stuck with the job until it was finished. I have other work but Charlie has not been available to do that work. Therefore I would like to rehire. He is one-man operation.

Charlie rebuilt the railings and replaced the screens on our porch with Eze breeze "windows". It has really transformed the porch, making it more of a three season room which we will be able to use in the cooler months. I am very impressed with his customer service; professionalism and craftsmanship. I would hire him again without hesitation, and I will recommend him to my friends.

Charlie built custom, removable screen panels for our screened porch to replace the original screening a squirrel destroyed. He build 15 panels. The work was meticulous. He was professional, on time, and there were no surprises or problems. A+ job!
